I dread losing a parent.

Dh lost his dad at 16 and is only now coming to terms with it.

yes, I know.

I wonder when we will stop MNetting...if ever

she is devastated and i think tomorrow will be hard for her.!6 is far too young to lose a parent isnt it

dh,s sis will get her results tomorow ,i doentsound promising,i will keep m fingers crossed for her ,she has been through alotin thelast 18 months and i seems it may of been for nothing ,but will know more tomorrow

It is and I think dh feels very sad and cheated that he never got to really know the man that he called dad.

He feels that he just didn't connect with him and hardly has memories just remembers being cheeky and disrespectful , you know, the usual teenage stuff.

i would rather chat on here than sit glued to the tele ,i dont watch a lot at all.Of course there are a couple of progs i like but not many.

thats very sad tnog.Just at the age when a teenage boy [ or girl ] needs a dad around.

i told you age ago that she had got cancer in her spine from rogue cell left from when she had breast cancer 16 yrs ago now ,the have given her different courses of chemo and she lost all her hair about4 months ago ,two weeks ago her lungs filled with fluid and she had to go into hosp and have them drained ,now she is in a wheelchair as she is too weak to walk,we are all thinking the worst in that the cancer has gone to her lungs.She is 59

He had motor neurone and died sooner than the doctors estimated.

Dh and his sister found him dead in the bed one morning before school.

He really, really wishes that he could have met G.

I hope the test results are good for her.

oh how terrible for them to find him .How can they ever get that out of their heads ? that is a terrible, terrible disease to suffer

yes ,how can you not.Thatis awful and to be so young to have to go through that,what an awful time it must of been for them

jus looked out of the window the snow has stopped again,we had quite a bit tonight again and it settled too

i am going now as i want to be in bed by midnight ,maybe catch you in the morning before i go [ 11.30am] or when i get back,in the eveing going over dd,s house for a while but will surely see you at sometime,night for now ,hope you sleep well x
