and I got pay-rise.

I earn now in 3 days what I used to earn in 5.

How the world changes.

I am so BROKE ATM THOUGH, SOUP EVERY DAY. oops.

Tn0g · 03/02/2009 08:21

My mother always says, to thy own self be true.

I think at nearly feckin' forty years of age I kind of get what she means.

Donkey is being stabled atm up the road with 2 horses.

It's snowing again here

ABloke · 03/02/2009 08:27

Yes my mum used to say something like that.

Glad donkey has some company. Hmmm I just a very strange thought but I will not type it out...

I think it is with breeding dogs it makes me wonder lots of things.

yes that makes me sounds mad.

You okay?

Tn0g · 03/02/2009 08:30

I don't know tbh

I'm just putting one foot infront of the other atm.

I will be ok though.

Tn0g · 03/02/2009 08:32

A friend of ours has invited us to a book launch party in Dublin this evening but weather is so bad we can't go.

The fella that wrote the book is on YouTube - Colm Liddy.

You should take a look, tis kind of funny.

ABloke · 03/02/2009 08:33

It's hard isn't it?

I sometimes wish I could go back the way to change things a little.

ABloke · 03/02/2009 08:35

I will have a look this morning when dc are at school.

Did you go to Wedding this month?

Tn0g · 03/02/2009 08:38

Wedding is on 28th

don't suppose we'll meet up......

ABloke · 03/02/2009 08:39

I think I may need some counselling but do not have the time just now.

I am scared of lot's of things. My parents getting older is a something I think about lot. I worry about it, them , how I wld cope without them.

that's morbid innit?

Tn0g · 03/02/2009 08:40

Have to go, Blokey.

STAY STRONG

you're lovely

and that's just from the snippet of you I know from here.....so you must be even better in rl

Tn0g · 03/02/2009 08:41

not morbid but it is scary.

what can you do though?
I know what you mean and I feel it too.

ABloke · 03/02/2009 08:43

Thanks T. You are too.

Lovely not morbid.

mummylin2495 · 03/02/2009 08:52

have you both gone now ?

OP posts:
mummylin2495 · 03/02/2009 09:10

do i have to set my alarm to 7am to catch you two ????

OP posts:
ABloke · 03/02/2009 09:32

28th.... I wld love to but it falls on oh 1 day off per week.

I could take a small strop and sneak out though ? I do this sometimes.

It wld be funny/weird/strange/nervy/nice though v nice. I wld giggle lots when/if I seen you. for no apparent reason, then I wld give you a big cuckle, I think.

Sorry M, hope you are okay?

Tn0g · 03/02/2009 09:53

Yes M, set that alarm clock for 7 and enjoy the bleary meanderings of Tnog [me first] and Blokey.

Well it wouldn't be 28th obviously [rolls eyes] I'd be at wedding on that day.

I'm looking forward to it, Rossdhu House looks lovely and a break away should do us all good.

Glasgow really should be the capitol of Scotland shouldn't it?

hehhehehe he

Tn0g · 03/02/2009 09:56

Off to greet my lovely but largely untalented though very willing students.

I have a woman who never draws breath at the minute.

Tis very distracting, she doesn't just go into a creative zone at all.

I keep hinting that she needs needs to shut the old trappo, but I don't think she does hints.

Will be more forceful today

CindersIsOnACarousel · 03/02/2009 10:03

Tn0g · 03/02/2009 12:55

Two people turned up this morning the rest couldn't make it because of the weather.

Dh doing class which is good of him really [concedes] [grudgingly]

CC, that's sad that you're so upset.

We're all bad mothers by times, and even then probably not as bad as we think.

God, I type such shit sometimes

I'm like a cross between Claire Raynor and [wildly tries to think of someone to cross with Claire]

Anyway...

I hope you did make to Vienna with the dc's in the end and are, at this moment, having fun drinking hot chocolate in a lovely warm clattery café.

Wotz, would you be looking for a family run type B&B or hotel type B&B?

because I don't really know of any

I mean when you live somewhere loike, you don't, you know, tend to use the hotels and b&b's to stay in, you just go home to your own old bed....loike.

I only really know that Jury's Hotel is popular with tourists and is reasonably priced.[smiles pathetically]

If you do find yourself in Co.Wickla make sure to visit Glendalough.

sparklesandwine · 03/02/2009 13:38

do you still have snow t?

ours has just about gone now

had driving lesson today, went well considering i've been awake since 4.30 with dd2, does she not realise its not playtime.... i suppose not...she is cute so i forgive her

CC i feel like a shit mum most of the time

i have self esteem issues

mummylin2495 · 03/02/2009 14:22

xcup has asked me to say sorry for moaning to you all.she cannot discuss what is troubling her.

i'm hoping it won't rain until after i've got back from getting the dc

ds1 has scouts tonight but i don't think dp will be home in time to take him, not sure if i fancy packing everyone out at 7pm though....maybe he can wander up on his own.....but i don't really like him walking about at night on his own....

sparklesandwine · 03/02/2009 14:32

i'm quite indecisive today
