Tn0g · 15/12/2008 09:53

I have a cold, feel dreadful, can't stop coughing < cough, cough, cough >

G's cold is improving but I've kept him home so hopefully he'll have improved again by tomorrow and will be fit enough for school.

Tis lovely and frosty here, beautiful this morning when I got up, red sky, thick frost, very still.

I love moments like that, quiet moments that stick with you.

How's your mum?

Tn0g · 15/12/2008 09:54

I CAN'T GO ANY QUICKER

What's the hurry?

I don't do anything quickly...drives dh crazy.

Tn0g · 15/12/2008 09:55

We'll be having a conversation and I pause and bloody hell he feckin' jumps in with the last word

wonder if he'll jump in me grave as quick?

FaLaLa · 15/12/2008 10:00

Oh yes we have the dreaded cough cough cough I also have one child at home, the other has a party today or would also be home.

I have a HUGE spot which seems to br threatening to take over my full face, overnight it grew about 5cm.

My mum. I don't know what to do with her. She will not take the 3rd type of anti-depressant docs are trying with her, because they make her sick.

She said she needs to just snap out of it.

She has not been out for 8 weeks now. I called her yesterday to offer to take her out for cards, she said no too many people.

She is writing a list so I can get them for her.

She still has giddiness. I do not like her GP. First Irish person I have met I do not like.

I don't know wtf to do with her.

Everyone is speaking again which is good. OH has job but has to spend 1/2 day here which is weird.

I have 2 weeks off work after this week. hmmmm we are getting on okayish though, apart from his paranoia, it's all about the children my dear T.

FaLaLa · 15/12/2008 10:03

sorry i am rambling a little.

FaLaLa · 15/12/2008 10:05

even though he was with another female this time 4 years ago.

It's abeen a shit year all round this T. So many deaths on the thread.

I do hope next year will be better.

Maybe the scuttle was a [something bad].

[hopes]

FaLaLa · 15/12/2008 10:13

and on to the good things.

I am almost sorted for Christmas largely thanks to the fat I have been lots of Tax this year and they have to pay me beck.

FaLaLa · 15/12/2008 10:23

okay perhaps type another time.

Take care.

DingDongMummyLinOnHigh · 15/12/2008 11:02

good morning to you both ,fala, dont blame scuttle thread for bad things that have happened, without the scuttle thread during the year we would all of been without massive support when we have needed it.bad things happen and we have all been lucky enough to of had others to share it with.I know when i had all the deaths within days ,i had a lot of support from scuttle people.Anyway, sorry that your mum still isnt tip top, hope the new year will bring improvements for her.I bet you are looking forward to your two weeks off.

Tn0g · 15/12/2008 12:00

I don't think Fala was having a pop at your thread M, but I can understand you feeling defensive.

There's no one left on that thread that I find remotely supportive, apart from ID and yourself.

It turned into a strange antenatal thread with people just barrelling in without addressing anyones previous posts, or perhaps that was just my posts that were totally ignored...me, paranoid...oh, no, but hey ho tis not rl.....

and on that note I shall take my leave for the Christmas season

Nollaig faoi shéin is faoi

Mhaise daoibh go léir

agus gach

dea-ghuí don bhliain atá romhainn

which means.....

A christmas of hapiness & goodness to you,

& the wish of every happiness for the coming year.

DingDongMummyLinOnHigh · 15/12/2008 12:45

i know you found it had changed and you no longer felt comfortable on the thread, but myself i found the new life that was on the way exciting .I felt able to share the joy with the expectant mums, but hey we are all different and come on here for different reasons. That is fine.I hope you will have a very happy xmas and new year,i wish you everything that you wish for yourself.Hope your xmas dinner goes well and the fire station is not required at your house see you in the new year if you dont come on here again before xmas.x

on a different note ,my stepfather is in hospital with heart and renal failure ,i dont think he will be home again ,its not lookin good, but i will be fine as we never had a good relationship.always sad when someone dies though.

Tn0g · 15/12/2008 13:05

Diplomatic to the end, M.

Funnily enough your post after mine on scuttle thread made me grin.

Somehow bore me out.

Tn0g · 15/12/2008 14:02

Hee hee

Ah come on, M

You're no fun.

Christmas isn't christmas without a big row.

Tn0g · 15/12/2008 14:03
TipsyFairydifferentID · 15/12/2008 14:05

Wishing you a merry xmas, Tnog and everyone else.
How long have you been unwell, young lady?

DingDongMummyLinOnHigh · 15/12/2008 14:11

i had to go quickly as a friend arrived ,you know i would of answered you.but i see what you mean, its easy to overlook a post sometimes, especially if someone else posts at the same time, but never mind, its all part of it.Well i still have a lot of shopping to do this week,so today is being spent on doing housework.Update on dd.her partner has finally said he wants to get dry which is the first time he has ever said this so maybe he has finally realised what he has been doing to his family this year.he is going to have people administer his treatment daily.I dont know what it is,also when he goes for his anger management they are going to breathalise him each time! i hope to god next year it works out for him, wether he is with dd or not.

DingDongMummyLinOnHigh · 15/12/2008 14:11
TipsyFairydifferentID · 15/12/2008 14:13
