i just nipped to my neighbours house to tell DS1 to come home, chatted for a few minutes and came home, i got back to find DS2 had managed to wrap a mini metal slinky around his wrist so tightly i couldn't get the thing off and had to back to neighbours where they cut it off with pliers

i'm so crap in an emergancy, i panic too much i'm sure they thought he'd cut his arm off the way i was panicing

my neighbours will think i'm a lunatic

i think most people can cope in an emergency when its not their child involved sparkles.You are not crap its just different when you see your own child in these circumstances.I remember when my dd broke her finger,i wa in tears as she was screaming so ,she also poked a screw driver in her eye when she was only three and had to have an operation,that was awful as we werent allowd to visit her in case she cried,i would stand outside the ward,hiding behind a pillar so i could see her!oddly enough that is now the eye she can see best out of,even though the eye is scarred

G's always banging his head.

He had concussion when he was 3, was in hospital for 2 days and it was the worst 48 hrs of my life.

He was delivered using forceps because his head was too big to fit through the ...erm...hole
