M sorry to hearabout step father.

DingDongMummyLinOnHigh · 16/12/2008 09:32

crikey abloke ,you were on here early !!! no news overnight,i heard last night that phneumonia [ sp] has now set in so i dont think there is any hope of a recovery now.he looks so frail. We are worried because one of my brothers is in kenya until the 23rd dec,he has been sent a message but havent heard yet if he is able to get back earlier.I may hear from him today at some point.very foggy here at the moment, looks very creepy outside!

DingDongMummyLinOnHigh · 16/12/2008 09:46

friday is the day dd,s partner has to go to court ! i expect him to get off with slapped wrists ,we will see.

ABloke · 16/12/2008 09:52

Is this for what he did with dd?

I think/hope an injunction will be set.

Tn0g · 16/12/2008 09:54

Morning.

God, you're probably right, M.

Hopefully not though.

VienneseTart · 16/12/2008 09:55

tis

sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

grey here

sniffles off again

wishing you both a good day

DingDongMummyLinOnHigh · 16/12/2008 09:57

i will be scared if he is allowed to go back to where dd is.I cant relax at all if i know she will be in the house with him.Dd is only tiny like me and he is about 16stone and hefty.he did meet up with the children on sunday as he hadnt seen gd on her birthday.the youngest apparently was in tears and told him she wanted him to come home and he did explain that first he has to get himself sorted out.

DingDongMummyLinOnHigh · 16/12/2008 09:58

i think this is going to be bad week somehow with one thing and another

VienneseTart · 16/12/2008 09:59

wishing you loads of strengh mummylin

DingDongMummyLinOnHigh · 16/12/2008 10:00

will they bring up about the police being called twice before ,the first time he went for her and the second when the police had to get the children out of the house ?? i have had no dealings with the courts and neither has dd so we dont know what to expect. As of yet she hasnt been told she has to go.But he has admitted he assaulted her

ABloke · 16/12/2008 10:00

Poor DD.

M if he frightened the dc & dd and I am sure I read he broke something, I would be appauled if there was no injunction set against him.

It is grey and dark here. [weather]

ABloke · 16/12/2008 10:01

yes, I would think so.

What is appearing for?

DingDongMummyLinOnHigh · 16/12/2008 10:01

i seem to find strenghth when im around dd,but when im not with her its a different story,i am constantly scared in case she gets hurt again. If i cant get her on the phone i panic.

DingDongMummyLinOnHigh · 16/12/2008 10:02

he is charged with common assault.yes your right ,he smashed the bedroom door, just before the police arrived.

Tn0g · 16/12/2008 10:03

It's not right is it? dd and dcs shouldn't feel scared of someone who is supposed to protect them.

It's awful.

DingDongMummyLinOnHigh · 16/12/2008 10:03

how is your cold tnog ??? hope its all clear for xmas .you are having your neighbour for dinner arent you ?

DingDongMummyLinOnHigh · 16/12/2008 10:06

no your right tnog, the youngest one was in hysterics when she phoned last time and its not surprising is it.Thank god she had the presence of mind to call me right away. But if he just gets a fine ,thats not going to help dd at all as he will give her less money for the children. But im still glad i called police ,even if he only knows that he will get in trouble.I wouldnt hesitate to do it again either

Tn0g · 16/12/2008 10:06

Oh, I'm ok.

Not so bad today.

Think I sweated it out a bit last night, kept having to dive under the duvet to blow my nose and cough into the pillow.

I've gone through about 6 loo rolls, there was a little snotty tissue mountain by the bed this morning.

Tn0g · 16/12/2008 10:09

You definitely, no doubt at all did the right thing M.

I just worry that judges are often so removed from reality, esecially regards domestic violence, that he'll end up not being properly punished.

He does need to face upto his problems, not be in denial, the courts could help in that process but so often they don't.

DingDongMummyLinOnHigh · 16/12/2008 10:10

he has said in the last few days he wants to get wll ,this is the first time he has ever said this so maybe some good will come out of it all eventually.I hope he sorts himself out, underneath it all he is not a wholly bad person.I just dont understand why after all the years they have been together he has suddenly gone like this .The anger management team say that drink is the cause of his anger,if he didnt drink he would have this anger. But even whilst he has been away from dd for the past few weks ,he has still been drinking and as ive told you before he only has 24% liver function,he is killing himself

DingDongMummyLinOnHigh · 16/12/2008 10:11

i also use loo roll or kitchen roll,i couldnt bear to have to wash horrible hankies.I remember my gran boiling them all up in a saucepan.I hope she didnt use the pan for cooking afterwards
