for his revolting belittling tone

Kerry is a grown woman regardless of her 'failings' and by rights should be spoken to as such

i keep watching this part of the clip

patronising toss scroll through to 7.06 for full on patronising by Phillip

"i feel sorry for anyone who has a talentless weasel belittling them"

im sorry i disagree, he had a right to question her behaviour, and in no way do i think he was being patronising, or judgemental towards her, it seemed to me ther was genuine concern for her there.

she was definitely on more than her meds, like i said in a similar thread, IF she knew her meds caused her to slur, she would have made it clear that it was mentioned prior to the interview. and we would have most certainly heard about it before in her me me me crap magazine column.

as you can tell, i am not a kk fan, i think shes ridiculous. quite frankly i couldnt care if shes a size 10 or 24. which was all she seemed to be rattling on about!!

i really think she should sort herself out and get the help she obviously needs. she deserves the critisism she is getting.

if you play with fire... you get burned.

RottenOtter · 26/10/2008 21:28

there was absolutely NO 'genuine' concern shown by schofield in the interview

well i feel for kerry

lets hope you never have to take ad's or somesuch matildax

Did anyone see her in OK this week . That magazine which usually loves her basically implied she'd got big alchol problems detailing all that she drank whilst doing a photoshoot.

She is also awfully indiscreet about her children saying how a dr had said her eldest was 'fat' and got upset because all the other girls at school were thinner than her. Yes kerry, it'll really help matters by putting that in OK.

She's clearly mixed up but she's made a deal with the devil in terms of her 'job'.

sitdownpleasegeorge · 27/10/2008 01:58

RottenOtter, PS explained to KK that people were already askng questions and gave her a chance to explain her slurred speech, he leaned forward in his seat in a way that to me showed he cared.

He was honest about the changes in her public persona over the years. IMHO, due to her less than carefree background KK has somewhat stunted emotional development anyway, she is hardly an adult in many of the ways she acts out her life so I do think he just felt like a kindly uncle figure to her rather than an interviewer dealing with a mature celebrity.

PS and Fern did plenty of plugging for KK's upcoming MTV programmes which is what she and her husband wanted from the show.

It stikes me that you have a very biased position on the matter.

CarminaBanana · 27/10/2008 02:03

Hmmm... I wonder what the ratings were for Kerry's new tv programme this evening.

Philip Schofield was far more tactful during that interview than most other presenters would have been. He could hardly ignore the fact that his interviewee could barely string a sentence together, could he?

matildax · 27/10/2008 17:47

rottenotter, you are entitled to your opinion, as i am to mine. so please accept that sorry i dont agree with you.
oh and for the record i do take ads, i dont however take drink or drugs on top of them, and talk utter tripe on prime time tele!!
out of interest, what would you have suggested that phil and fern, should have done in the situation they were in???

shhhh · 27/10/2008 20:43

Not read whole thread but I disagree that philip is patronising....

I think both p&f could have torn kerry to bits and could have had her career ended...in fact they were v gentle on her in a way....

Kerry is a grown woman...well if thats the case she should act like a grown woman.

clam · 28/10/2008 11:56

They both (Phil & Fern) went quite a long way through the interview before biting the bullet and bringing up what everyone watching must have been thinking. I think they were both gentle, kind and tactful with her, and they could hardly ignore the state she was in. The only person who seemed unaware of it was her.
If anyone's to blame for her being exposed to that kind of scrutiny (apart from Kerry herself), it would be her husband. Maybe he was more concerned about plugging their upcoming new series.

Flossish · 28/10/2008 12:32

I think Kerry should stop referring to herself as an unpleasant water going mammal.

jenk1 · 28/10/2008 20:46

she has sacked Max Clifford today.

here

shhhh · 28/10/2008 21:20

hmmm....the same max clifford who was like a father to her...the same one who "gave her away"..?!

She seems to have no friends and no family and blames everyone else..surely everyone else can't be wrong and Kerry right..?

Maybe she needs to take a long hard look at herself.

On the brink of meltdown...............

WinkyWinkola · 28/10/2008 21:27

Her poor children. I hope they're ok.

BabyBaby123 · 29/10/2008 10:17

apparently two eldest now on holiday with father - social services have been round there and were satisifed the children weren't in her care don't know where her two babies are then!

anniebear · 29/10/2008 20:06

I love Philip!!! Lol, kissed him once, his skin was so soft!!!!

lol lol

ipanemagirl · 31/10/2008 17:10

Actually I saw a bit of the interview and I thought he was patronising too.
