phillip Schofield was a patronising Tw@T on that interview and should be severely admonished

for his revolting belittling tone

Kerry is a grown woman regardless of her 'failings' and by rights should be spoken to as such

i keep watching this part of the clip

patronising toss scroll through to 7.06 for full on patronising by Phillip

that was agood exercise then. They have made him sound like a staffordshire bull terrier

TskullsScreaming · 24/10/2008 14:29

Oh dear...Poor old Phil. Bet he wishes he was back in the broom cupboard with Gordon the gopher. It was a whole lot less of a minefield in there

filz · 24/10/2008 14:30

he is a really nice man, bless him

wasabipeanut · 24/10/2008 14:39

Smash Hits awards wasn't it Dryad?

I watched this yesterday before youtube pulled it. Awful. I actually thought she was really aggressive whihc made me think it might have been more than the meds.

In any case she certainly shouldn't have been there. Don't know what sort of people run that MTV show but they should be ashamed of themselves. Agree husband also seems like an idiot.

The whole KK spectacle is just unspeakable depressing.

BabyBaby123 · 24/10/2008 14:43

this woman is just a waste of space - she could be any druggie social services client off the street - the fact she was once (many years ago now....) in a girlband does not mean we have to have her on our screens/in magazines/in the paper for the next god knows how many years. She is sitting there, blatently off her head going on about her body - I mean seriously - WHO CARES?? GO AWAY LOVE AND LOOK AFTER YOUR KIDS

ledodgy · 24/10/2008 14:46

I'm not sure if it was just meds or not either but having watched the mtv series she was in she does seem to fool herself when it comes to drinking etc. When she was pregnant she had what she described as only 2 glasses of wine before going on the Jonathan Ross show but the glasses were those huge ones that hold about a third of the bottle.

Her husband seems like a complete arse, he does seem to be using her as a meal ticket and comes across as very selfish. Alot of her friends and family seem to have let her down too which is a great shame. I do feel sorry for her, she was fab on I'm a celebrity and I just wish she could get back to that again.

Winetimeisfinetime · 24/10/2008 14:46

I thought it was very sanctimonious of Fern to be questioning her { in the pretence of being 'concerned'}about what was reported in a magazine about KK apparently drinking whilst doing a photo shoot when Fern herself had made a statement about how nothing that was written about her gastric band and weight loss should be believed, only what came from her own lips was the truth.

Fern also asked KK if she had, as addicts often do, replaced her drug addiction with alchohol. It's a shame that KK hadn't had the presence of mind to ask Fern what she had replaced her addiction to food with.

BabyBaby123 · 24/10/2008 14:49

come on though - slight difference between being overweight and having a 'food addiction' and being a drug user/alcoholic (even during pregnancy....) I don't suppose Fern's kids have suffered much but I'm damn sure Kerry's do

Winetimeisfinetime · 24/10/2008 15:00

Yes I agree babybaby there is a difference but my point was more how Fern was portraying KK in a bad light based on a magazine article after having said of herself that we were not to believe what was written about her.
I felt that with Phillip Scholfield there was a bit of genuine concern about KK but that Fern was very unfair to press her about the article, both because of her own experiences and KK's fragile state.

I love Phillip and Fern

And I watched it live and think they did the right thing asking her about her speech cos I thought blimey she is drunk

I know nothing about medication so can't comment on the effects etc.

IMHO it was all a publicity stunt for her new reality TV show ~~~ I mean stunt cos of them getting her in the studio late so producers couldn't meet her beforehand

I also call it a stunt cos people on mumsnet have ssaid they will watch it now so the stunt has worked hasn't it

I don't read papers or magazines so have no idea what they have been saying

The MTV programme was recording the THIS MORNING show too from backstge iyswim

So the publicity will be grewat for MTV and loads of poeple will be watching KK show now won't they????????????

I wonder if she will appear on GMTV etc too

{I think it was MTV ~ but I may be wrong}

.

idobelieveinghosts · 24/10/2008 18:13

In what way do you mean a publicity stunt though? Do you think she drank/took drugs/took more of her prescribed medication...or whatever it was all about on purpose so that it would be all talked about???? If that is right then she needs even more serious help than what i originally thought.

I did think for a few mins..gosh i might watch a bit of her programme just to see what happened after .....but after the whole publicity stunt possiblility..no way!

wannaBe · 24/10/2008 18:36

it was a publicity stunt her turning up so late, because even if Philip hadn't asked the question, her speach was so obviously affected that it was bound to make the headlines anyway.

And imo her turning up late was deliberate because they knew the interview would have been cancelled if she'd got there in time for the producers to notice what state she was really in.

that surely has to be quote of the week?

RottenOtter · 24/10/2008 21:04

wow - 1st time on mumsnet today sooo

YES he had to address i but NO to frankly patronising demeaning comment on how she had changed over the years

yes - she has gone from carefree 20 year old to divorced mother of 4

YES she has prbolems

NO Phillip Schofield is neither qualified nor worthy to throw judgement on her like some judgemental psychotherapist

and i quote 'believe me'

fuck off Phillip go heal yerself

OP posts:
RottenOtter · 24/10/2008 21:06

plus soooo not a stunt

on the clip when she is with boob doctor her speech is equally as slurred

How 'worthy' does one have to be to be to pass 'judgement' on someone who purposely puts themselves in the public eye then rotten otter?

Didn't see the clip but feel so sorry for her. When she used to be on Loose Women she came across as happy and secure as a loving wife and mother. Brian's got a lot to answer for...

RottenOtter · 24/10/2008 21:16

I heart Kerry actually
she has been dealt a shitty hand at birth and made many an unwise choice .....but

Phillip Schofield spent years supporting 'just for men'

in my eyes that makes him not worthy

OP posts:
childrenofthecornsilk · 24/10/2008 21:17

what's 'just for men'

ScareyBitchFeast · 24/10/2008 21:18

i cant find it

ravenAK · 24/10/2008 21:20

Poor lass.

My first dh was on heavy meds for bi-polar depression. He was regularly that incoherent.

He was also an alcoholic, which didn't help, & isn't exactly unusual amongst people suffering from depression.

Whatever Kerry was on, she needs support, not witch hunting. I don't see that it matters, actually, whether it was just the meds or a few drinks too. Either way she's clearly not well.

RottenOtter · 24/10/2008 21:26
