I've had 2. Soo ooo cute though.

It's my favourite time of year.

I haven't gone mad with decorations but enough to let dcs realise I'm participating. A house nearby has gone all out so I've directed them there.

Hope I get more?

Ooo doorbell has gone again.

It was 5 teens. Dressed up though. And they only took one sweet packet each.

Lost count. We decorate the outside of the house and leave out skeleton in the porch minding the sweet bucket so we are not up and down all night. We are on the online trick or treat map so I think that directs quite a lot our way.

None so far but the kids in the village are beginning to age out of Trick or Treat. Hoping for a repeat of a couple of years ago when we had someone on a horse!

Stuck my head out the door... Heard two mums across the road instructing the bairns only to go to decorated houses - but they were speaking a language I studied 40 yrs ago.

I shouted across the road in their language: "You can come here - I have sweets for the children!" (They maybe thought I was weird...)

The two wee boys were all dressed up, spoke perfect English and thanked me - then they ran back to tell me their jokes. So sweet!

After saying to me trick or treat I said I'll have a treat please and held out my hand. One little boy started to offer me his sweets. Aww.

Never had anyone round in 20+ years. No street lighting and only a narrow pavement on one side of the road so not surprising really.

That's another two large groups been at the door. The most recent group had Grandad as their supervisor and the family dog dressed as a jester.

Well I ran out of sweets. Not kidding had over 50.

I had to take lights down and pumpkin out of the window. Ds1 and his gf had cooked a lovely meal for us so had to remove them so we could eat. I can still hear dcs outside walking around.

Next year I'm dressing up and getting lots more sweets.

We've had about 12 or 13 lots of kids. Never had so many! Maybe because it's fallen on a Saturday?

The best costumes were Darth Vadar and Audrey 2 from Little Shop of Horrors. 😁

There's lots of fireworks going off too.

I can hear kids outside, but I'm guessing my house isn't dressed up enough...

We had about 35-40 before I closed up about 10 minutes ago. I think it was a good year. The children all looked great and there were lots of tiny ones.

They're still ringing our doorbell 🙈

Four lots so far, we usually get loads. I put a string of coloured 'ghost' lights in the sweet bowl and one tiny boy, about 3, was more interested in them than the sweeties, very cute.

Upwards of 20 but it’s all gone quiet now

We gave out 150 bags of haribo - our street was very busy!!

We live in the middle of nowhere but we’ve left two big lit pumpkins at the end of the drive with two bowls of little goodie bags. We live near the NC500 and I’m sure there will be a few camper vans with children passing who never had the chance to go guising tonight. My friend lives in the nearest village and I left 30 bags with her to hand out to the children that visit hers tonight.

We have only had two groups but the first one had about ten people in it. The night is young though!

I have had three, and that will be my lot. I was expecting two, as we live rurally (i.e. a short lane of houses between farms) and they're the only children who live here, but a friend from school came with them. Thank goodness that I had extra sweets for her!

Send them over to Fife!
