Absolutely. There are stupid, irresponsible women as well as men, but they won’t find anyone to have neglected children with if the men are sterilised. But yes, women should have to show themselves to be able to be competent parents too.

I totally agree.
Every time I see a celebrity on TV spouting about their autism diagnosis my heart sinks.
When my son was diagnosed 35 years ago we were told by his consultant that she had only ever 2 other children with autism during her career. My son is non verbal, self harming and lives in care home with 2 to 1 support.
I recently retired from education and I can clearly remember being greeted by a sea of blank faces when I first told my colleagues my son had autism.

The hill I will die on is that gentle parenting/authoritative parenting is wonderful and I truly believe the world would be kinder, calmer and generally a nicer place to live if it was the norm. Those that think otherwise I encourage to read up on it properly, because most of those I see against it believe it is ‘lazy parenting’, never saying no, no boundaries and allowing the child to walk all over them, which is not the case and could not be more wrong. There are very clear boundaries and if done as intended it is hard work, needs a lot of patience and is very much the long game. The older DD gets the more I can see how much she has benefited from it, and I would not change that for anything.

I thought this was a really interesting question so did a brief bit of digging and you are fundamentally wrong to think current pensioners have paid more than current workers ever will.

Dogs are generally much better behaved off lead in public spaces than your average chav child (and parent).
we live in a country of largely dog lovers thankfully and long may it continue.
move to a Muslim country if you hate dogs.
