They stand behind a wall or barrier with slots for the rifle barrels.

There is a mechanical 'countdown' so they all fire simultaneously.

One or more of the rifles is loaded by an officer in the armory behind closed doors with blanks/dummy rounds. The rifles are then distributed randomly. This is for 'plausible deniability' so no one knows who fired the live rounds, including the 'volunteers' themselves.

I am told by grown ups that if you can't tell whether you fired a bullet or a blank then maybe you should stick to flower arranging.

Did Vance read the President of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, Archbishop Paul S. Coakley's announcement on the subject or did he use his own moral compass beforehand? Good for the US Catholic bishops, at least they're being Christian about this - although, logically, if you are anti-abortion as a Christian, then you ought to be anti the death penalty as well. Though of course, logic doesn't apply with MAGATS.
