Men hanging around children's playparks

There seems to have been a rash of these on my local FB. Posts full of outrage (?) Fear (?) about men, usually with dark skin, loitering near play parks.

My first reaction is FGS live and let live you nasty racists, but there have been so many I'm now wondering if either they're made up, or there is something untoward. Why are men hanging around in groups by a playpark?

Or was my first guess right?

The child abuser is far more likely to be your child’s friend’s dad than an asylum seeker stood around, much as they often do in some cultures.

Well illegal immigrants have to be handed leaflets telling them it is wrong to rape girls and women. That is worrying in itself.

And the Ministry of Defence has to create an entire anti-rape campaign for their soldiers.. Anything to say on that?

Been happening here too. The concern is that they’re filming or intently watching the kids without a child with them.

Let’s not pretend it’s not concerning because they’re described as being darker skin.

Yes, sadly we can’t deport them.

Are certain types of abuse less bad because they’re less likely? Confused

Quite.
Take a brandy from a white chap, April, but stay clear of the brown man's vodka.

She should only accept rides from men with champagne 🥂 😂

Zafar Dugan jailed for over 2 years for using Ai to make thousands of images of children to appear naked - bailed to a flat overlooking a playground. Even Mark Rowley said WTF is going on?

Ffs can we stop joking about women’s safety like this? It’s beyond disrespectful

Your sniggering is absolutely grim. The safety of women and girls isn't a fucking joke.

No but telling children to assess safety based on a stereotype is a really bad idea. Well before the grooming gangs scandal blew up the idea that a paedophile looked a certain way (shifty looking ugly older bloke in a Mac) put children at risk. Lots of grooming ignored by adults because the man doing it seemed such a lovely bloke or children unable to verbalise why cartain situations made them deeply uncomfortable because they were never taught it's wrong for an adult to do XYZ
It's always better to educate children and adults to look out for suspicious behaviours and act on their instinct. I know the jokes about brandy, champagne from white men seem in poor taste but it's genuinely scary that an earlier poster boasted about telling her underage daughters never to accept vodka from Pakistani looking men or get in their cars. And then was incredulous at the revelation white grooming gangs existed..if you tell a child don't get in a strange mans car or accept alcohol if he looks a specific way then you are actually telling them it is safe to get in their car or take alcohol if they don't look like that.

Trying to signal ones non-wokeness is apparently more important than children's safety for some.
