Possibly but I was thinking that the fact that they saw her and ran away didn't really chime with the idea that this was a potential attack by well drilled Iranian-financed terrorists (of whatever citizenship). They would have killed her.

I think she should be extremely concerned for her safety especially as the British Government are gaslighting her and calling her a fantasist. It may be Government agents and not Islamists who are after her. Run and don't give anymore interviews.

But even then they wouldn't release them would they? I don't think they'd release them if they thought there was the slightest chance that they were mixed up in anything more serious than petty theft (though I agree stealing fuel can lead to very serious consequences and should be treated seriously).

That's one option, be interesting to see if the police collar anybody else.

OTOH given the circumstances - gone midnight, dark, remote, the farmer will have been subject to more than a bit of startle factor, plus more and probably keener on getting out of dodge than doing a headcount.

I very much credit her actions after that but I wouldn't automatically assume her numbers are right..might be, might not be.

If this had turned out to be 5 far right suspects, there would be no let's wait and see. They would be bang to rights with guilt.
