Come share the laziest thing you have done lately.

No judgement. Those who want to feel better about themselves by bringing others down can head over to AIBU.

I've got a fantastic all singing all dancing pressure washer at home. I've just driven to the garage to use the pressure washer there for £4 so I didn't have to roll out the extension lead and the hose and plug in my fancy pressure washer.

Got an entire weeks shopping delivered and then ordered Uber Eats for lunch, as I couldn't be arsed to cook.

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 21/09/2026 11:59

Eaten Spam every night for a week.

Whenever there's a bowl with baby clothes soaking in the laundry room due to blowouts I empty the tumble dryer water into the bowl, even if it's already quite full. Cba to walk to the loo literally across the wall to empty it

Mrschickenlady · 21/09/2026 12:11

Deliverooed in some sugar from the shop a 5 min walk away because I was midway through baking when I ran out and didn't want to leave all the mixing bowls and things out

Binge watched Five Star Weekend on Saturday afternoon/night. Dh was at work and cba going anywhere. Watched all 8 episodes. 🙈

Bought a second roomba for upstairs as I was fed up of carrying him up and down.

Me too!! Then I don't use either of them at all because I'm too lazy to remove chairs, loose cables and other obstacles

BrezhnevsLuxuriantEyebrows · 21/09/2026 17:45

I've watched a film or programme on YouTube - even though we have in on a DVD in the same room, and also a DVD player!

HambleTheDoll · 21/09/2026 17:51

Got a 415 Roomba. It’s fucking brilliant. Vacs and mops and dries. If the house catches fire I’m saving him first

I did used to frequently drive to the petrol station to use their air pump (at £1.50 a go) rather than use our manual foot pump. However, we invested in a decent electric pump that plugs into the car cigarette lighter and actually works very well, with virtually no effort on our part (unlike the cheapo ones - that ironically they sell at the petrol station - which make a nasty loud squealing sound before overheating and starting to smoke before actually inflating the tyre fully) - so it's actually less effort (and cheaper in the long run)... and so still technically the lazier option!

PersephoneParlormaid · 21/09/2026 17:56

Had cereal for tea as I couldn’t be bothered cooking.

ThatCyanCat · 21/09/2026 17:58

Bought a full shop and then ordered in for dinner, and chose pizza so that I wouldn't have to get out, use or clean any crockery or cutlery. Even ordered a bottle of water so I wouldn't need to get out, use or wash a glass.

PuppyMonkey · 21/09/2026 17:58

My kids both left home last year and since they’ve gone, I can count on the fingers of one hand the times I’ve cooked a proper meal. DP and I have splurged on Charlie Bighams and some of these healthy ready meal online places. They even deliver these lovely meals to you so I don’t really go shopping much either, apart from milk, fruit etc

OsfameronTanamoril · 21/09/2026 18:02

I binge watched the whole of The Crow Girl yesterday. Waste.

squashyhat · 21/09/2026 18:24

I have a sore but not incapacitated back. I am sitting on a sofa and the TV and Firestick remote controls were approximately 6 ft away on the other sofa. I called DH in from the kitchen to hand them to me. And he did! ❤

Sometimessmiling · 21/09/2026 18:30

Been buying jars of pasta sauce...

MyOliveViewer · 21/09/2026 19:13

Yesterday I got back from a cruise and went and bought a chippy tea.

Mine are full time workers! I was sceptical but they do an amazing job of keeping on top of Labrador and Mali hair indoors.

They both have set routines and and pm, and there is something very satisfying about seeing them wizz along to their designated room.

I started watching thinking it was awful... and then pretty much binged watched the whole thing. Doing the same thing with La Brea in spite of telling DH how awful it is.

I was going to make mashed potato at dinner, but when I opened the bag of potatoes I saw two that were the right size for baking so I just whanged them into the oven alongside the heat and eat gammon shanks.

JustWalnut · 21/09/2026 19:43

I've got a guy coming to fit a new radiator this week and I was meant to repaint the bedroom before he came. I've only painted the wall behind where the radiator will go, and will do the rest soon. Or never...

Minniliscious · 21/09/2026 19:50

Held my pee in for about 2 hours because I couldn’t be bothered to leave the sofa.

Epoisses · 21/09/2026 19:54

Paid someone to so my ironing. I just couldnt be arsed

UserName001002 · 21/09/2026 19:57

I was lying upstairs in bed when the delivery driver knocked at the front door. Refusing to expend the physical energy required to stand up, walk downstairs, and turn the handle, I opened the window, threw the house keys down to the driver on the pavement, and shouted for him to unlock the door, bring the delivery inside, and lock up on his way out.
