Come share the laziest thing you have done lately.

No judgement. Those who want to feel better about themselves by bringing others down can head over to AIBU.

I've got a fantastic all singing all dancing pressure washer at home. I've just driven to the garage to use the pressure washer there for £4 so I didn't have to roll out the extension lead and the hose and plug in my fancy pressure washer.

Thank you @PuppyMonkey- we’ve tried Frive before and I wasn’t keen on the food, but Field Doctor looks really good!

Obeseandashamed · 23/09/2026 00:07

Stayed in bed doomscrolling until I had to get up to get the kids from school. 🙈

I was going to make mashed potato at dinner, but when I opened the bag of potatoes I saw two that were the right size for baking so I just whanged them into the oven alongside the heat and eat gammon shanks.

I never, ever, make mashed potato. I buy it pre-mashed in a packet. Life is too short for mashing potatoes.

I have a downstairs bedroom for when my grandkids stay over, I was too lazy to walk up the stairs to my own bed so I slept in one of their single beds for the night. Then realised I would have to change the bedding so slept in it again the next night , to make it worth the effort.

Mumtobabyhavoc · 23/09/2026 01:27

Ate a bag of dark chocolate salted peanut butter cups from a specialty chocolate shop for dinner in lieu of dishing up a plate. 🤷‍♀️

CrocsNotDocs · 23/09/2026 02:07

I downloaded a book on my kindle when I didn’t want to walk to the other side of the house and take down my copy from the bookcase.

Got an entire weeks shopping delivered and then ordered Uber Eats for lunch, as I couldn't be arsed to cook.

i get a takeaway almost every time we do a big shop. It’s overwhelming

She wanted to meet up next week so I said i would check diary when I got home ie when i could be arsed to get up and go downstairs to look in diary 😂

Washed a load again the next day because cba to hang it out when it was finished.

Am guilty of this as well!

The hardest work is to go idle <<shakes head wisely>>

Yesterday I got back from a cruise and went and bought a chippy tea.

If you didn't have any fresh food in I don't consider this lazy.

AlwaysPurple · 23/09/2026 07:00

I scooped up all the post we've received for previous house occupants that DH has been accumulating to recycle, and I dumped it all straight in the wheelie bin. He hasn't yet noticed.....

Bookaholic73 · 23/09/2026 07:12

I told everyone I was on a night shift at work, and booked myself into a hotel to get a solid 12 hours of sleep.
It was bliss and I don’t regret it one bit.

This morning: wanted to look at my 'body battery' so opened the app to find it on my phone that was in my hand, rather than move my arm to look at it on the watch face on my actual wrist.

Good point, I feel less lazy now.

I binged 5 Star Weekend too. I thought it was really good.

Me too!!

I snapped a coat hanger pulling a jumper off it. Simply because I couldn't be arsed to unhook the hanger and do it properly 😃

I’ve done this too many times!

Thewonderfuldollypartonsbra · 23/09/2026 09:09

Not me but dp

We'd ran out of clean plates and he couldn't be bothered to wash one up,so he ate it off the pyrex bowl he'd cooked his dinner on

I was so 'impressed',I posted the picture on Instagram and it got more 'likes' than any other picture I've posted

Guess others relate...

That’s not lazy-that’s GENIUS!!

Im relating to far too many of “confessions “ on this thread -especially double washing the laundry

CallMeFran · 23/09/2026 17:26

Heated a microwave meal and ate it from the packaging as I couldn’t be arsed to get a clean plate out. DH thinks I’m a monster.

Needsomethingtoread · 23/09/2026 17:40

Bought Coverless duvets for kids beds. Each week all bedding is striped and chucked in the massive washer dyers outside the post office and then back on the beds the same day So easy. I hate making all the beds.

Hatty65 · 23/09/2026 17:49

Told DH it is jacket potato for tea and shoved two in the top of the oven.

That's me done. He can put what he likes on his. I'm just shoving Lurpak in mine.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 23/09/2026 17:56

Asked Alexa to do a really simple sum (24 x 45).

Ihateboris · 23/09/2026 17:57

Sprayed Febreze on the bedding in my guest room rather than washing it. To be fair, it was my younger brother staying who's used to a filthy bedroom!
