Morning All! What's everyone doing today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, in my conservatory spot, with boy cat snuggled on my knee. He was in bed with me til I decided I was ready for a cuppa! Girl's gone back to bed with dd2 💤.

Today's new bed day 🥳 so plan is to get dressed when the washer's done, start dismantling the old one and shift the stuff from under it into the girls room for today. Then assemble it before bed time!

If it doesn't arrive by the time underneath is empty and old bed dis-assembled, I have a cave for a display at work to finish, a new crochet word project to work on, and several items I want to browse online for. So plenty to keep me busy! Dd2 has a little bit of homework left - she's been using college frees for it so far.

Dd1 got in at 4am, so I won't hear from her for hours yet.

I might treat us to takeaway for tea, depending how bed building goes. Then it'll be either book or crochet this evening. I haven't picked up my book all week, I've been that knackered after work!

What about all of you 🙂

Enjoying some peace whilst everyone is out at sports / sleepovers… just me and the dog/ cat… coffee, granola & yoghurt with stewed blueberries ☺️

Currently ignoring the state my front room is in…

Had a busy morning. Went to the hardware to pick up an oil-fired radiator and a clothes airer. Then hit the supermarket. Got home and hung out a washload, 'cos it's a nice sunny day. Just finishing off a cuppa and a pain au chocolat. Then I'll hit the road to Dad's house. I'm going for lunch with him. When I get home, I'll have a shower and get some clothes ready for the working week.

DD's boyfriend is here and I think they're heading to the cinema.

Weekends are too short!

Weekends are definitely too short @Taytocrisps .
Today I took DD to her work at a soft play and dropped off DS so he could get the metro to church. Then I went to see a friend I haven't seen for a while and a cup of tea with her and chatted for ages.
Came back, did my walk while DH loaded the car then took some wood to the tip; as he can't drive, we went together. Then he made us cheese and ham omelettes for lunch.
I had planned to sort the Sunday dinner this afternoon but DH suggested the carvery so now that I've picked DD up from work, my afternoon is free.
Having a coffee, laying scrabble, might enter the odd competition. I also found The Guide Handbook that belonged to my Gran in the sixties so I'm reading through that.
My Gran was the Guider btw, not the guide.
I seem to recall it has things about the night sky, Morse code, different knots. I'm just reading through the service to God part t the beginning for now.
