My ears are not yet curated, just two holes in each lobe but I have plans to get some piercings done in the not too distant future.

My daughter wants a curated ear. She’s 13 and currently has 3 lobe piercings in each ear, (stacked, is that the right word? One above the other up her lobe.) that’s her limit at the minute as her school don’t allow earrings and cartilage takes too long to heal, we were pushing it with the 6 weeks for her last lobes, she’s highly annoyed that she now needs to wait a few years!

I love the look of curated ears but for some reason my body does not heal from piercings at all. I’ve had my lobes done 3 times and the top of my ear and all had to be taken out as over a year later each time they still hadn’t healed. I have my nose done which flares up every now and again but they only reason I’ve still got it is I changed it to a ring after 6 months and haven’t changed it since in 2ish years, so I’m sticking with it for life unless I take it out for good.

I bloody love piercings, looking great both!
at what point does an ear become ‘curated’ 🤔 I have no photos but;
left ear - conch, forward helix, three helix, two lobe and one ‘high’ lobe (not sure what that’s called 😂)
right ear - four helix, daith, tragus, two lobe
All silver toned, sparkly and a vaguely botanical theme, couple of leaf style etc
plus I got my nose pierced yesterday, nostril, with a wee sparkly stud, on a complete whim and I am delighted with it!

I love them both OP. I have daith pierced both sides and on one side, two lobes and in the other, three plus an upper cartilage. I can't decide what I want in them but wear fairly conservative earrings for work. I'll take a pic in the morning ☺️

Your jewellery is so pretty! Especially as you only just had them pierced.

When I get new piercings they will only ever use the boring balls & hoops until it’s healed then swap to something pretty.

On another note. Isn’t the daith piercing absolutely horrendously painful!! 😭🙀

He will only put in 18 carat gold, platinum or titanium bars. I went very bougie and got the bee and ring in 18 carat gold. My wallet is extremely empty now 🫣🫣

Also my piercer does ‘ear theming’ which sounds absolutely wank but it basically means that the jewellery you get pierced with can stay in forever and then you can add to the jewellery with other jewellery that matches as you get more piercings. He will source special pieces that match your existing jewellery so I won’t ‘need’ to ever take these out apart from downsizing in 3 weeks or so. 🥰

Mine never heal properly :( I’ve tried piercings multiple times throughout my life and it never goes well regardless of care, I’m thinking of maybe getting tested because my mother seems to think I have some allergy but she doesn’t know what (apparently this was also an issue as a child, I remember having them pierced more than once).

I’m going to speak to my piercer about designing my nose, I have an unfortunately large surface area so figure I might as well have more than one basic hole! I had it done years ago but it was awful and thankfully closed up! I’m due in a few weeks to get my new helix changed down so will be getting it done then hopefully
