inspired by a relative who always asks this at the end of a meeting/phone call.

I found my amarylis 'pup' did survive the summer and is now shooting out leaves and a flower spike.

my teens are cooking dinner tonight. I'm happy they are transitioning into nice adults.

Just noticed that my sunflowers have started to flower I thought they were a lost cause. I was off work today, so got up made a brew and got back in bed to read my book for a few hours.

My kids (who are not the best of friends) hung out together today and we played scrabble after a pub lunch.

A fabulous day out with my eldest granddaughter before she leaves again for uni again in a few days. It’s thousands of miles from home and I’ll miss her. She’s just so blooming lovely and also very loving.

I am feeling much better after a migraine, and nothing went wrong at work today. My remaining plants are perking up with some more regular rainfall!

my dc cooked together but scrabble definitely would end up in a scrabble...

Paddled in a stream to cool my feet after climbing a mountain. Made me very happy.

Specialagentblond · 06/09/2026 20:42

Finished watching trigger point - a rare few hours on the sofa. It was bliss.

Lornaadoone · 06/09/2026 20:43

My friend has just invited me for lunch. ❤️

DreamingOfGeneHunt · 06/09/2026 20:44

Knitting my jumper and watching The Professionals.

StrictlyAFemaleFemale · 06/09/2026 20:45

DH put up the toilet roll holders in the bathroom. Yippee!

My newly decorated, carpeted, staircase & hallway.
my beautiful clean & clear conservatory
My beautiful new kitchen and my lovely fresh carpets and rugs which I shampooed at 7am this morning.
The last 12 months has been a challenging time with a house upside down and in chaos due to
works ongoing.
Now it’s coming together and it’s breathtaking! I’m so proud of what we have achieved. can’t quite believe how fancy and posh our house is and that it’s ours.
Keep walking round looking at it and smiling.

We went to a cafe today and there was a cute little dog fast asleep on the floor while we sat on a sofa. The dog kept edging closer and closer to us until he eventually ended up sleeping on me with his head on my shoulder. So cute.

When we got back our cleaner had been, she usually comes on Mondays and Thursdays but can’t do tomorrow so has been today instead. I had forgot she was coming a day early so It was lovely surprise to walk into a lovely clean house.

Whorulestheroost1 · 06/09/2026 20:56

Finishing work after my second 13hrs shift on the trot. One more to go then a few days off.

LindorDoubleChoc · 06/09/2026 20:58

Been out for lunch with dear friends who we see maybe 3 times a year. It was warm enough to wear a summer dress and eat outside. London was bright and busy with loads of people out and about just vibing and enjoying the weather. The food was fantastic! A great day.

Octavia64 · 06/09/2026 20:59

I made a lovely roast cauliflower and chickpea curry.

Wallabyone · 06/09/2026 20:59

I watched the Moana film at the cinema-I loved it!

TheChosenTwo · 06/09/2026 21:11

An unexpected nap on my sunlounger, could hear my chickens scratching about nearby and the warmth of the sun on my face, it all just lulled me into a lovely slumber for about half an hour. I’ll gloss over dh waking me up asking me what kind of potatoes I wanted for dinner 😂

TheFairyCaravan · 06/09/2026 21:16

We’ve had a long weekend glamping with DS2, DDIL and DGS (2.8), where we also found out we’re going to be grandparents again in the Spring. I feel like I’m floating on air. We’ve been truly blessed with our DDIL, she’s the best mummy to DGS, who’s a delightful little poppet. We’re all absolutely over the moon.

DollopOfFun · 06/09/2026 21:20

My teenage son is currently on a flight home after his first week away with friends (and not us).

This means he's survived, not got arrested, not broken himself, and managed not to lose his phone or his passport.

I am so looking forward to a half decent nights sleep tomorrow night!

marmitegirl01 · 06/09/2026 21:32

I rinsed my free power hour from octopus today. Ran every appliance and charged everything up that I could 🤣

Seawolves · 06/09/2026 22:09

Discovered I'd got no bread so decided to make a loaf, it came out of the oven about 15 minutes ago..

what makes you happy today?
Tarkan · 06/09/2026 22:19

I’ve been ill with a sore throat for the last couple of days so I was happy to wake up to find I felt much better today.

DH and I then met up with my friend and her husband who got married last weekend and we had breakfast in a local pub, it was their first weekend offering breakfast and it was really good food and great prices so think we might start doing that regularly.

AllJoyAndNoFun · 06/09/2026 22:24

Seeing dd out with her friends for her bday. Makes me happy that she’s got such nice friends. Also I had a Pepsi in the pub while I was waiting for them and I forgot how good Pepsi is.

SusanSHelit · 06/09/2026 22:26

Have had a lovely meal out with my dad and son, caught up with all the adventures we had over the summer, booked a holiday for me and ds next year and discovered I'm only working 9-5 tomorrow instead of 7-7:30 😬
