I don't actually think that Paul Mescal is attractive. I think that his accent does a lot of heavy lifting, and also the fact that he was in Ordinary People which was released during lockdown, so a lot of people lost their minds over him. I don't find most of the current crop of young actors attractive at all. Paul is better looking than Timothee Chalamet or Tom Holland, but not patch on Newman or Redford or Cooper or Peck.
