I think a poster on the previous thread made a good point about beauty. There are loads of gorgeous, sexy men who are not 'beautiful' and I think symmetrical, classical features and a standout aspect like eyes contributes.

Like Paul Newman 😂. For me, the fact he had a goofy, self mocking side increases the appeal, but let's face it, even if he had been a truly awful human being, the beauty was still there.

ETA having said that, an old colleague of mine had been secretary to a Texan oil baron in the 60s. He was apparently the image of Paul, frequently mistaken for him. She said he was a vile human being and his girlfriends lasted one date.
