If you could have any dessert you wanted right now, what would it be?

I’d choose rhubarb crumble with proper thick custard.

Trifle

EverythingIsCrispy · 27/08/2026 22:46

Crème Brûlée, or banoffee something. But I’ve just had a kit kit chunky cookie dough flavour that was delicious so I’m a bit full

Churros with Nutella sauce plus a Nutella milkshake 😋 ( that's probably two, but I'm greedy) 😆

Trifle

Do you make your own trifle? If so, what goes into it?

Eton Mess, but with only soft fruits. Just stop putting bloody blueberries in it!

BunkBedsArePeopleShelves · 27/08/2026 22:48

A proper rich sticky toffee pudding

SilenceInside · 27/08/2026 22:48

Tiramisu

No, but will try! I love a good quality strawberry trifle!

When I was in Spain with DH, we ordered enough churros for four people, by mistake. We scoffed the lot.

Something luxurious and chocolatey that I couldn’t make at home

This preferably from Cook or Sainsburys taste the difference!

2chocolateoranges · 27/08/2026 22:50

Sticky toffee pudding with ice cream.

NorthantsNewbie · 27/08/2026 22:50

Tiramisu here, too. I was craving it when pregnant, and now DD has CMPA but I’m still breastfeeding so 24 months later… one day I’ll get it!

WonderfulSmith · 27/08/2026 22:52

I do like a good trifle. As a vegetarian it’s much easier to buy one as they are usually vegetarian. Buying vegetarian jelly that isn’t dreadful is hard work.

I used to love it back in the day when a desert trolly would be brought round in a restaurant.

Right now I think I’d like Eton mess.

DancingFerret · 27/08/2026 22:52

Delia's apple and almond pudding.

familyissues12355 · 27/08/2026 22:53

Ooh I am known in the family as the pudding queen!

Depends on my mood but right at this moment….

TIRAMISU!!

BCBird · 27/08/2026 22:54

Apple and sultana crumble with custard-more of a pudding. Dessert- cheesecake-mint chocolate chip

Smokewhistle · 27/08/2026 22:54

Jam Roly Poly and custard

Another vote for tiramisu. A proper homemade one with loads of boozy coffee flavour and plenty of cocoa on top. Strong sweet coffee to with it too

Sgtmajormummy · 27/08/2026 22:57

A mango Solero!
I’ve been hankering after one all summer and my usual supermarkets only have double chocolate salted caramel creamy gooey stuff.
I had one at a motorway services and that’s been it…

SummerHols2026 · 27/08/2026 22:58

Profiteroles. Just tried the Tesco finest ones with salted caramel. Yum. Can someone please explain to me how that portion is supposed to be for two people?!

AcquadiP · 27/08/2026 22:58

Tiramisu

sweatybettytoday · 27/08/2026 22:59

Homemade banoffee pie or tiramisu!

onwardandupwards · 27/08/2026 23:01

A sundae, with whipped cream and a cherry on top!
