Rained heavily yesterday. We're east Durham.

The grass next to our house was so scorched. We don't own it but obviously nothing can be done.
It was such a relief to see the rain 🌧
Keeps promising to today but nothing so far.

West of Scotland. With the exception of our lovely three week long summer (called a heatwave) it's been raining on and off all year. Torrents throughout the winter, normal heavy rain interspersed with showers all summer.

Staffs here. Hammered it down for 15 mins or so earlier. Nothing since, but still quite grey and dull.

SW Scotland it’s always raining here, as with everywhere on the west side rain is our default position, although admittedly less this year than normal.
Monday night temp also dropped quite a few people said they put their central heating on or lite their log burners; goodbye summer hello winter 😕.

Edited

Four seasons in one day is very common here, strange because we only have two seasons in a year. July and Winter.

I also spend most of November through to February complaining about the lack of snow while my East Coast family have to dig out the car in the morning 😂

Sw, overnight, not enough to fill the bird bath so won’t make a difference to the water problem! We are still without a ban but been told everyone needs to be really careful about use

Merseyside, really heavy overnight. And a weather warning for more heavy rain overnight tonight.

Mid Suffolk - it’s rained during the night for the last 3 nights, as evidenced by puddles in the driveway. Before that just 1 night of rain (July 25th) in the previous 6 weeks.
