Has anyone else been following the lindsay clancy trial? What is everyone thinkin? I dont think she done it

I don't need to re watch a man, who's obviously in internal anguish and his replies.

Saying that I think he's someone who doesn't like his authority being questioned in no way implies he killed his children.

As a couple, I doubt I would ever have been friends with them because they seemed to be Insta ready. Something I can't abide.

Will add again that I have no idea why this incredibly difficult and devastating case has gone to trial. There's absolutely no need for it.

Why do you think it should have gone to trial when Lindsay Clancy admitted killing the children because of insanity, as in post partum psychosis?

Eh? It’s a question asking why you think it shouldn’t have gone to trial. Do you have professional experience over and above those who think it should have gone to trial hence why it has? The question was written clearly, are you able to answer it?

Yes. Because she may have lied. It has been known to happen. For example she killed her children because she is actually a sociopath and then told everyone she wasn’t.

Her only hope not to go to prison is a trial. You get why this whole thing is so controversial right? It was before the character assassinations on PC.

Why are you being arsey? I only joined this thread acknowledging my own bias and questioning myself. I see a thread of posters with opinions and your opinion is it shouldn’t have gone to trial - I am politely asking why you think that considering professionals directly involved with the case clearly don’t share your opinion. I am genuinely interested

Both parents are in charge of keeping their children safe from endangerment. Both parents tried to get help.

Are you suggesting that PC didn't help in anyway with his wife or didn't show empathy for her in the supporting statements for the prosecution? Which turned out to be a huge help to the defence.

You are aware that there's two totally separate civil law suit cases being brought by both parents against the health providers.

I think you need to be very clear with what you are posting. Choose a point and stick to it. I think you’ve got involved with so many chats, lifted that info and used it as your own.

Oh for goodness sake. I was on a telly addicts thread with you where you came across as harsh and saw on one other thread where you were the same. Maybe reflect like I have.

That's a good question.

However as this trial proceeds it's quite obvious that the family and Lindsay in particular had serious problems that resulted in the devastating killings. And that's just the prosecution case.

The prosecution would have been apprised of these facts before taking it to trial.

If you are going to suggest that I'm aggressive over many threads without quoting and changing it to harsh, then it's not a fair discussion.

And you certainly are not being good natured in bringing that up.

Personally I have no idea what you are talking about re the telly addicts, which has multiple threads.

I'm going have my dinner/supper now and watch again the first series of Ludwig.

I think it clear LC had serious mental health problems,was over medicated and undersupervised medically.i dont think it clear beyond all reasonable doubt that her confession is reliable.
I appreciate this trial is not about wether LC killed her children, its about wether she has criminal responsibility for the killings due to PPS.
