What do you think you can eat in limitless amount and have you ever tried? 😂🤮

For me:

Lidl bakery brownie - not tried, but I think I need to learn my limit
Tiramisu - tried, failed after a few decent table spoonfuls
Smoked salmon - not tried, expensive
Blue cheese - not tried, too scared

DD (26) is the same with salmon and tiramisu, we did the tiramisu together last year. She was making bold claims about coleslaw and sauerkraut, but not sure if there was any action.

Honeycomb ice cream, never tried but I think I could probably eat it forever. Would it be cheating to have a black coffee with it?!

BBQ food. I don’t know how I can eat so much when I just couldn’t if it was cooked in an oven.

SaraHoliday · 05/08/2026 18:22

I could eat a M&S Mountain Bar every day if that applies 😁 I don't though. Just once a week 😂

Digestive biscuits, boring I know

GhostOrchid · 05/08/2026 18:24

Buttered Jacob’s cream crackers. Don’t have them in the house.

Before I was gluten free I used to eat buttered water biscuits by the plateful. So good, I miss them....

I can eat strawberries and raspberries in vast amounts.

I had an ex who could polish off a punnet of grapes no problem, then complained of a stomach ache...!!

Oh i always have seconds and thirds of cottage pie. It just goes down a treat.

Cheese Sensations

Curly wurlys, I think my max has been about 20, but I reckon I could easily have 100+

youalright · 05/08/2026 18:27

Crisps, we rarely buy crisps due to my lack of self control

dizzydizzydizzy · 05/08/2026 18:27

Fresh hot bread just out of the oven with lashings of butter.

Vroomfondleswaistcoat · 05/08/2026 18:28

Cream and basically anything which has cream as a major component.

I have to be careful about buying cartons of double cream for recipes because I can easily drink a whole carton straight from the fridge.

AmIrightAmIright · 05/08/2026 18:29

Roast dinner. I can just go on with the roast potatoes forever!

Saucery · 05/08/2026 18:30

Vienetta. Always said as a child I would buy and could eat a whole one to myself, so I tried that when I left home. Turns out I was wrong 🤢
Sesame topped bakery loaf however, with lots of butter…..maybe, but not going to try it.

Maraudingmarauders · 05/08/2026 18:30

Brie. I’ve not tried but have eaten obscene amounts.

Egg custards, cold from the fridge. I don’t buy them any more because I eat them in the car in the supermarket car park.

SaraHoliday · 05/08/2026 18:31

Unfortunately/Fortunately thinking about this, I could probably dunk a lot of McVities Chocolate Digestives in hot tea or coffee.

Also, I did develop an afternoon 'Magnum' habit at work during the recent heatwave.

helplesshopeless · 05/08/2026 18:31

crunchy grapes!

Terriblytwee · 05/08/2026 18:32

Sugar Puffs before I was vegan. A box in a day once.

Finsku · 05/08/2026 18:32

Well, nothing is limitless, obviously. But I am very partial to freshly ripened on the vine cherry tomatoes. I could easily eat a whole punnet of those (but never actually have - a punnet usually lasts me for about 4 meals).
I also love fresh, juicy peaches. But I couldn't eat more than one.
Eating loads of anything, even things that I really like, would make me feel sick - and that would be a shame because I might then be put off my favourite foods.

theworldisadarkplace · 05/08/2026 18:33

Crunchy nut corn flakes.
Would never give them house room now, but, goodness I could happily live off bowls of 'em.

MyKindHiker · 05/08/2026 18:33

Oysters. Turns out before you get too full to eat more, you get sick from consuming too much sea water as each one has a teeny bit of saltwater. And if you eat 48 of them in one go I discovered 48 times a little bit of saltwater is a LOT of saltwater. 😖

OMG what animals are a sugar puff made from???

GrillaMilla · 05/08/2026 18:34

Discos. I've eaten a multi pack without any effort, I could've easily carried on but I was losing the skin on the inside of my cheeks!

AllJoyAndNoFun · 05/08/2026 18:35

M&S Red Leicester bread ( the fresh one from the bakery) with unsalted butter. Personal record: 2 loaves

hahabahbag · 05/08/2026 18:35

Pringles, by the tube, so addictive. I’ve met my limit on smoked salmon at the breakfast buffet!

thenightsky · 05/08/2026 18:36

Red Leicester mini cheddars.

DuckWrap · 05/08/2026 18:36

Crisps

Tiger bread with butter

Crackers
