We rented a house once years ago and there was a cannabis farm on the next street to us - we didn’t know about it until one of the neighbours posted photos of the police removing loads of the plants and the lamps etc…. We all walked round and they brought out 3 men and put them in a police van it was so strange on a randome cul de sac - the home owner lived abroad and rented it to “his friend” but apparently he knew nothing about it….

Yes my house. We were in bed, they smashed the front door in. Charged upstairs, pulled XH out of bed and dragged him downstairs, I was pushed down the stairs.

They dragged him to the van with me holding on to one of his legs and screaming that we had no idea what was going on. They started the arrest guff and we realised they needed the house around the corner! They dropped XH on the pavement and drove off...luckily they were not armed but there was about 10 of them. It was horrific.

Yes. Our next door neighbour was raided a few years ago. Police vans on the drive, dogs brought in which we could hear working in the bedroom adjacent to DS1. After an hour or so officers came out carrying large paper bags. I found out through the local press some time later that the eldest son had been caught drug dealing with drugs, cash and dodgy phones found under his bed. I think he got three years.
Nice, rural middle class area. Mum is a teacher, head of year. Lovely lad on the surface.

I was in a house with a strange set up as it had an apartment directly under us.

One morning, we could hear noises, and wandered into the spare bedroom where we had police coming through the window looking for the neighbour!

We had just finished having nookie too, so both of us had to rush and get some clothes on, and explain they had the wrong house.

The neighbour wasn’t even home, but damn we got a lot of side eyes from the other neighbours thinking they were after us

Not a raid as such but we had police at our front and back door once. It was 6 o'clock on a Sunday morning and when my husband opened the bedroom window to see who was calling at such an hour, they said who they were looking for. We invited them in, offered them coffee and explained we had just bought the house from the parents of the man they were looking for, who had told us he was coming back from a year in Australia, the police told us he was on the run for murder. There was house down the road that had a cannabis farm in the attic but i didn't see the raid.
