Just flicking through TV channels came to QVC and they have
Santa's Secret Finds under £40 on.
I know some start shopping early but summer holidays have just started.
This is madness, its not in the shops already is it ?

I doubt it’ll be long, I’ve noticed a lot of summer stock on sale alongside Halloween stock creeping in!

Yes i went to look at some garden furniture / parasoles ( The Range ) to see in real life rather than online. All the stock they had on display was all gone except for one sofa that had a Sold sign on it.
They also had a small selection of Halloween. Crazy .

My FB feed is full of nostalgic Christmas AI. And I get the count downs too! Love it.

Pallets of Roses, Quality Street etc usually appear in supermarkets in August, which is from next weekend.

Shortly followed by mince pies.

Christmas in July has been a thing in the crafting world for years. I guess it makes sense to start making things, but fuck me, it's depressing.

If people need or want to plan ahead, that's perfectly fine.

I know lots of people actively planning and looking forward to big summer holidays during the winter beforehand. They say it helps get them through and gives them something to look forward to. Nowt wrong with that.

I like Christmas and plan it well in advance so am happy to see it appearing in shops from September onwards. I don't really bother with Easter so when it appears in the shops on Boxing Day, I just ignore it.

If you’re making a big thing, or things to sell at a craft stall you have to start early though. And all the fabrics etc run out if you don’t buy them when they’re on sale. Like waiting until the 2nd September to get your child’s school uniform. It’s there, but the offers and best styles were there in June.

Agree. Some people spend all winter saying how cold it is and how much they’re looking forwards to summer!

In Asda today they had the tubs of chocolates (Roses, Quality Street etc) that usually come out for xmas, I was..............🤔 confused 🤷
