My DS20 has been clearing out his room, he came down to show me a lego truck he'd made when he found his old lego and got distracted, it was really detailed, I was very impressed - and touched that he wanted to show me - he was so proud. Made me remember all his lego creations from years back 🥲

Aww that's lovely, they still really want our attention and praise as teenagers even if they might hide it often.
I went to visit my 15 year old at camp today, 20 minutes before we were even due to be there she was messaging me to ask if we were nearly there yet, and then wanted to play foozball with me and her friends.

DD became very cool when she started secondary but has found a lovely group of friends who seem to have as much of a silly side as she does
