What's for breakfast?

I only eat breakfast at weekends, so it's a real treat to relax this morning with a big bowl of strawberries covered in Greek yogurt, sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds. Yum!

What are you having?

OP posts:

Coffee and chores first, then freshly baked almond croissants with homemade cherry jam, in the garden with my new magazine.

GameOfJones · 18/07/2026 08:14

Black coffee for me. I eat breakfast very rarely, usually only if I'm on holiday (intermittent faster.) But I then often have breakfast food for lunch. I fancy potato farls, proper butter, bacon and eggs!

DilemmaDelilah · 18/07/2026 08:16

I'm not hungry this morning so I'm having a cup of light hot chocolate. I may have a yoghurt later if I need it, but I'm hoping not (trying to lose weight).

A bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes and milk, it was a real treat!

TheChosenTwo · 18/07/2026 08:50

I’m not a breakfast eater, none of us here are really. I’ll for for a brunch at weekends though, 11:30ish, maybe boiled eggs and soldiers today.

DreamingOfGeneHunt · 18/07/2026 08:52

Oatmeal soda bread, cheese and a huge tomato. If I don't eat breakfast I want to commit murder by about 11.

Fiddlesticks1 · 18/07/2026 08:53

A banana.

ExplodingCarrots · 18/07/2026 08:57

I’m the same as you OP. So this morning I’m having one of my fave Greek yogurt bowls . Greek yogurt (aldis is my fave ) , frozen raspberries, blueberries , milled flaxseed , pecan nuts and drizzled with orange flavoured honey .

Girlintheframe · 18/07/2026 09:00

Black coffee and overnight oats

OvernightBloats · 18/07/2026 09:02

Greek yogurt with a dollop of honey, slice of honeydew melon and a very milky latte

Tiddlywinks63 · 18/07/2026 09:04

A bowl of fabulous muesli, blueberries and mixed seeds with a big mug of milky coffee.

shoesandshipsandsealingwax · 18/07/2026 09:07

Blackcurrant jam on sourdough toast and a strong coffee, plus a glass of apple and mango juice.

ImogenBrocklehurst · 18/07/2026 09:08

Homemade granola, Greek yogurt, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries from our bushes, M&S empress grey tea. Afterwards, I’ll feel so virtuous that I’ll probably deserve an almond croissant.

Ljcrow · 18/07/2026 09:09

Poached eggs on toast plus baby plum tomatoes.

Avocado on sourdough toast with a poached egg. Exactly the same as every morning

Tea, half Warburtons thin (not both of them) with Sainsbury’s crunchy peanut butter and marmite

Iamnotaloggrip · 18/07/2026 09:43

Scrambled eggs on sourdough and Greek yogurt with strawberries, chia and flax seeds and almonds. Glass of orange juice.

My DD is a fan too - you have to toast it very lightly otherwise it's like eating a flip flop.

The other solution is to make your own which is much better. My DD is home from uni atm and has a starter underway but otherwise I get Tesco crusty bread with sourdough mix.

Scrambled eggs with toast and a strawberry and banana smoothie

FionnulaTheCooler · 18/07/2026 11:16

Toasted bagel with philadelphia spread and a cup of tea.

toomanydicksonthedancefloor1 · 18/07/2026 11:30

Varies on a weekend, last Saturday I had 2 toasted English muffins with butter and marmalade. Today I had Greek yogurt with strawberries, blueberries and oats. I much prefer the muffins! I also really like porridge. But bread based breakfasts are definitely my favourite weekend treat. I try and be super healthy Monday to Friday

toomanydicksonthedancefloor1 · 18/07/2026 11:30

Ooh I haven't had a bagel with Philly on for ages, must try that next weekend. Yum.

desperatemum1234 · 18/07/2026 11:30

Espresso and cigarette 👍
