Saw this earlier, of course there are a lot of the usual unpleasant comments you would expect on the likes of Facebook, but I found it surprising how many of the people who actually knew her have paid tribute stating how they could never have shared her politics but how she was a very kind and pleasant person irl.
My MP also shared a tribute thanking her for joining them in strongly opposing fox hunting, condemning it as cruel, morally indefensible and barbarous, which as Tories was obviously very much against their party. I hadn't known that about her.

I don’t think agreeing with someone is a pre requisite for being respectful toward their death. At least, not in a sane society.

I admire any woman of her generation that made it to the top when the norm was as to marry and stay home. I hope the culprit is caught quickly.

I’m surprised that I’ve not seen anyone on social media claiming it’s politically motivated yet, especially since Farage in the last few days has claimed he has received death threats and calls for his assassination and has claimed the £5 million bung was for security. They will 100% capitalise on this

I agree. It’s situations like this where you just know what’s coming, though. It too much of an opportunity to pass up for screaming persecution so soon after all the dirt has been dished in the media.
