Vote Count Binface to say no to corruption and self servicing narcissists....

It's time we got rid of the likes of Trump and Farage who build their wealth whilst taking advantage of their positions of power. They should be serving the public not increasing their bank balance.

People of Clacton you have a chance to stand up and say no to corruption. Kick Farage out.

Imagine if Binface got elected and chose to dress in his usual attire for the next 4 years, including during heatwaves. 😂😰

Two things wrong with that. It’s three years max. And ancient parliamentary rules wouldn’t allow it.

I suppose the result of this prospective, utterly pointless by-election will turn on whether the citizens of Clacton have a sense of humour.

I can’t believe Clactonians are so devoid of fun that many of them wouldn’t make a point of voting for a man with a bin on his head in preference to Farage. Alas, I suspect that the cheerful residents would be outnumbered by the Reformites. But one can hope. And even a good-ish but losing result for the Count would be one in the eye for Farage.

On one of the news channels they were speaking to people in Clacton and most were all 'he's a good bloke', 'he can do no wrong' etc unfortunately

I’m not surprised.

But any win for him will be meaningless when his only real opposition is a man with a bin on his head.

He argues that he was not involved in politics when he was gifted the £5m. But he owned a registered company called Reform UK at the time. How is that not involved?

Not involved in politics?? Does the man think we're all idiots?

A host of transactions involving Reform UK’s most senior figures and donations to the party caused bankers to report potential money-laundering concerns to the National Crime Agency. He can’t really bluster his way out of this.

Yorkshirelass04 · 08/07/2026 14:48

I can't believe there are still people on here, on threads like this, defending Farage as anti establishment and a man of the people.

Read the room.

This.
I actually think he would do the job if elected.

If Farage wants a people v establishment vote, give him one. Just not the one he thinks he wants.

Binface is more politically savvy than many give credit for. Farage is going to have an election. Laurence Fox has put his name forward as it is.

The BBC etc have an obligation to report on all candidates standing. A few Binface interviews wouldn't be a bad thing. There was one for Makerfield and frankly Binface was brilliant.

And he’s promised to build at least one affordable home!

Good question
Farage is going to explain that. And much more. The issues are piling:

In response to the comments that JH would be better than NF.....

I don't doubt that Jon Harvey would be a better constituency MP than NF (at least no worse) but you're not voting for him, you're voting for a satirical alter ego. Which one is the MP?

It's like Sasha Baron Cohen would probably be an ok MP (better than NF, which is the benchmark here) but Ali G would be a farce. Honestly, if JH is serious, he should unmask and actually tell us what his policies are - I think that would be more effective than doing the "I'm crazy, me" act.

Otherwise the comment about "the people get the government they deserve" springs to mind. Voting in BF is one of those things that seems funny and a "fuck you" at the time but also puts another nail in the coffin of the serious politics we actually need.

But also Lab and Cons need to grow up and field candidates.

Oh I don’t know. It seems as though there are quite a few people who stand as supposedly sensible candidates but the reality after they’re elected is a farce, or worse. So why not have a comic candidate who could be a sensible MP?

The other political parties have done the grown up thing by refusing to participate in Farage’s grandstanding and misuse of the democratic process and public funds.

Laughingravy · 08/07/2026 23:14

Just like to say I have no idea what I said that has ruffled feathers at MNHQ and why them 'looking at it' has taken several hours with no result. MNHQ feel free to tell me what I said that irked so?

ThatJadeLion · 08/07/2026 23:18

I would love for binface to get in. England to win the world cup. Then binface to get his win. What a year that would be.

I had my post automatically hidden earlier when I used the phrase 'krypton billionaire' except not the superman planet but the type of money. It did eventually get allowed but I guess MNHQ are in bed now?

NorthXNorthWest · 09/07/2026 00:50

I'm torn.

Part of me would enjoy seeing Count Binface beat him. But I'm not sure that would send the same message to Labour as a strong Reform result would.

I don't want Reform to win the next general election. I do, however, want Labour to be worried. Their arrogance has been staggering, and I think they need a reminder that no party is invincible.

Well he is anti-establishment in that he is a traitor.

He is in no way a man of the people. I don't know what that means when it comes to Farage.Confused

Sheesh is that all? What's the issue with that word? People can call Farage, or whoever, any amount of very insulting words but can't say XXXXXX. And because we can't use the word it's difficult to have a discussion about why MNHQ are so twitchy about a legal (if incomprehensible) currency!
And 15hrs later have still not 'looked at it'.

There are ways round it - don’t waste energy on it. I usually say digital currency and the context clarifies what I mean.

I couldn’t disagree more. The opposition should absolutely refuse to play the chaos game. I have renewed respect for them refusing to rollover. They have all said they will field candidates in the future but not in this circus.

We absolutely should not go down the same route as the US, legitimising this type of ‘politics’.

Exactly and after the steady hands of labour have /are going to deliver us yet another pm ,forced the Makerfied by election we certainly do no need any more of this farce.

Well we've just had council elections that hammered labour and now they think it's all ok again because they won one in makefield?
Honestly they are dire and if they think they are ok and wanted then they deserve to be consigned to history for years and years

A lot of Reform voters in the local elections have buyers’ remorse already.
