Anyone Staying Up To Watch England v Mexico?

[MarmaladeSandwich7]

DH has had a proper sleep & I’ve had a bit of one but think I may well crash & burn before kick off! Hope I can stay awake though ⚽️🇬🇧⚽️🇬🇧

Now that was worth getting up for, what a performance that was. Time to get ready for work now.

Gosh! I remember belting Wonderwall at a hotel in 2007 when I went to Cancun 🫢

It's one of those seminal moments. Those who stayed up and watched Mexico V England live and those who went to bed, hoping to fast-forward through the highlights at 7 am.

I’m toying with the idea of staying up now. But I’m two beers in!

And the stadium sang along

I woke up a few minutes before the end and checked. Yeeeeeesssss!!!

Well done all of you who stayed up.

Thought I'd be ready for my bed but full of adrenaline!

Fantastic match. England, down to 10 men, playing at altitude in front of partisan crowd, were brilliant. Great performance. Well done England.

2 glasses of wine and a vodka - thankfully not in work till 12 and working from home

Kane’s interview. 😂

Harry Kane’s voice 😂😂

Poor Kane sounds like his balls just dropped 😂

That Kane interview is going to be made into 1000000 internet memes.

@ghostyslovesheets (hello! 👋) I am very pleased that I cancelled my pt at 8am. Nothing in the diary till noon and never Been more happy work for myself

I watched it silently whilst DH snored next to me. What an unbelievable game. Gutted I couldn’t hear Kane’s voice in the interview.. will await the memes in the morning 😂

Technically I could take a morning of ‘bereavement leave’ as it was my (asshole) father’s ‘celebration’ of life this weekend but I’ll take annual leave this morning and battle through till 5! Night all xxx

What a match!! Unbelievably resilient performance by England but I think the stress may have taken years off my life!

Me! But then I happen to be in Cancun!

Oh, the memes in store for Harry! 🌟.. Meanwhile, I’m hopefully off to dream about Jude! 💖💖💖💤…

Sleep well to everyone who made the excellent decision to stay up!!! 🥳💤💤💤

Just woken up to the score. OMG.

Ooooh! Super jealous! ( I went on honeymoon)! Hope you’re having a fantastic time!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟

I thought that, too! 😹😹😹🥳

I’m honestly so wired after that, I’m going to struggle to sleep!

What a game.

Bob hhkkgghkhh

Same!! They were INCREDIBLE!!!!!

I could definitely sleep if I had the chance. Sorely tempted to find some quiet corner in the basement and sleep but someone might notice I'm not working
