Prime Day: Any good deals this year?

RayaMumsnet · 23/06/2026 10:09

It’s Prime Day (again!) and, while I love a good deal as much as anyone else, I’m all about finding bargains on things that are genuinely useful and built to last.

Have you spotted anything worth sharing in this year’s Prime Day sale? Add your finds to the thread below.

Here are a few deals I’m eyeing up:

28% off Duux Whisper Flex 2 Smart Fan - was £180, now £130 (lowest price ever according to CamelCamelCamel). Mumsnet's Home Editor, Poppy tested this fan last summer and was really impressed by how quiet it was.

24% off JISULIFE Portable Neck Fan - was £34, now £26. I’m thinking this might be the answer to commuting in the heatwave? Read the review.

49% off Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream was £28 now £14. There have been threads about this cult classic on Mumsnet for years, and at almost 50% off I’m tempted to give it a try.

Take a look at our round-up of top finds in the Prime day sale for more deals from MNHQ.

Have you spotted anything worth adding to your basket? Share it with your fellow MNners below.

Beauty deals:
COLOR WOW Dream Coat Supernatural Spray 36% off plus lots of other products in the range also discounted
58% off LAURA GELLER NEW YORK Award-Winning Baked Balance-n-Brighten Colour Correcting Powder Foundation
39% off Clinique Almost lipstick plus more deals on other Clinique faves

Ways to survive the heatwave:
20% off Levoit 20dB Quiet Smart Pedestal Fans
15% off COSRX Ultra-Light Invisible Sunscreen
23% off Jisulife Table Fan Pro3

More deals we’ve spotted:
29% Kindle Paperwhite Raspberry
31% Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer, you can read our review here
48% off Echodot (Newest gen)

I have hazel eyes and love this burgundy mascara:

Oo thank you.🙏🏻 I've just ordered the plum one.

Can't recommend the Duux fan myself, bought one last year and it was just dead when we tried to use it this year.
Now have the Shark one. Much better, IMO.

That’s a shame - mine’s been brilliant over 4 years and incredibly quiet.

annlee3817 · 23/06/2026 23:42

Laura gellar powder foundation for 12.99, love this stuff, such a good price and then loreal moisturiser for around 12 instead of 30, otherwise trying not to buy anything else lol

I suggest that if you can't even remember what those things are that you don't need them.

Thanks for the snark, I do so enjoy that 🙄

The point really is that the echo is currently doing better price wise than many Bluetooth speakers.

So the fact that I can't remember the other stuff may be irrelevant

Really it's a question of separating out what's done by Alexa & what's done by the echo

IndigoBluey · 24/06/2026 00:14

@OnlyGarden I often can’t remember where my keys are, sometimes I forget my age. Doesn’t mean mean I don’t need them Halo

That's exactly the point. You know you need them. You know they exist. You know why you need to find them. It's nothing to do with not knowing where they are.

I wonder when the age thing starts? As I child I couldn't fathom how adults didn't know how old they were. But at some point I realised that I had become one of those adults. 🤣

I’m loving that this thread has appeared next on my feed to the thread about climate change and how we’re all killing the planet!!! All this tat flown in from China…the two extremes of Mumsnet!

Bristolandlazy · 23/06/2026 16:22

No, we all have enough stuff already surely. Where does it all end. Landfill, literally.

I was just thinking that this thread is peak consumerism ...

(Though I wish there was some real incentive for people to have things mended, rather than chuck to landfill. But it's expensive, & also hard to find people with the skills.)

I agree, I wonder if half the comments are from real people or bots, it's all depressing.

49% off Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream was £2.

Please check the price history. The Elizabeth Arden cream is not the bargain you think.

I've run through the car seats which are on offer and these would be my picks. A real shame not to see more rear facing options, but good deals on some boosters. It seems Maxi Cosi have participated heavily in this year's Prime Day which is why I've included so many by them - it's not a sponsored post, and recommending here just means I think it's better than other options on amazon, rather than in general.

⚠️ I just wanted to add a warning first, to AVOID many brands which are on offer, mainly anything with little to no branding, but also specifically: Reebaby/Reecle, Murphy/Miophy, Feakou, Heekin and Lettas. These models are made by a Chinese company called Yangzhou and are sold under various different brandings. ADAC, who sell their data to Which? among others tested a model from this company sold under different brands and it failed drastically. While it is one specific 360 model which failed, personally I would avoid any car seats from these companies and any company who do not have a strong trusted safety reputation. The article warning against them is available in German here; most browsers will auto translate. https://www.adac.de/news/kindersitztest-fruehling-2026-warnung-vor-kindersitz/ ⚠️

These are the seats from trusted brands which are at a good discount:

Infant carriers (Birth - approx 12 months)

Graco Snuglite 2 i-size - £63.99
While there's no base available with this, you can buy it separately for £90 (£100 for a rotating version) elsewhere, or fit with seatbelt. It's a basic seat which I believe is only compatible with certain Graco pushchairs, but does the job. Graco SnugEssentials is also on offer but the Snuglite is newer and slightly higher spec.

Maxi Cosi Pebble 360 i-size - £136.55
Maxi Cosi FamilyFix 360 i-size base - £135.78
Maxi Cosi Pearl 360 i-size - £170.29
For a premium car seat and base, this is a really low price - they are often over £400. If you already have the base or want to future proof, it might also be worth grabbing the compatible toddler seat Pearl 360 i-size, but do bear in mind that the limit on this at 17.5kg is lower than many other 360 degree rotating car seats, (often 19/20kg) so this might not last you to the promised age 4. It can sometimes be better to choose a toddler seat which is not reliant on the "family" base, especially as a lot of them allow much longer rear facing than this seat.

Multi Stage Seats (Birth - approx 4 years+)

Graco Turn2Me Group 0+/1 - £107.24
Very good price on this classic seat modelled on the ever-popular Joie 360 Spin. Rear facing from birth to 18kg, with a multi stage insert allowing good fit at any age in between. The safety results are good and it is a solid choice for the price. Forward facing is possible from 9kg but stick with RF as long as is practical, as it is safer. Does have slightly less leg room and side impact protection than some other 360 type seats, but is compact as a result of this.

Graco Slimfit R129 - £89.99 - Best Bargain
Belt fitted seat which is great for grandparents or as a second car seat. From birth-105cm (approx 4-4.5 years, max 21kg) the seat is used rear facing and from 100cm min it can be used forward facing as a high back booster up to 145cm (approx age 10/11). Good safety results, easy to use and very good price for this seat. Downsides are it can be bulky, the fit for smaller babies isn't great and the belt path is inconvenient for an everyday seat.

Forward facing seats with harness (from 15 months, better 2/3+ years)

Maxi Cosi Titan S Comfort i-size - £119.99
Britax Evolvafix - £144.99
Both solid options to harness up to 105cm and convert to high back booster seat lasting to approx ~10-12 years depending on child and car size, well made and easy to use. The Maxi Cosi harness weight limit is 18kg whereas the Britax harnesses up to 22kg, both are limited to 105cm standing height but have generous shoulder space in the harness. Can be good for children needing to move out of a 360 seat for a younger sibling who are already FF, or children of small stature who are not ready to move to just a high back booster.

Before you buy - there are other longer lasting RF options available, just not on amazon. These seats rely on top tether to fit safely.

Graco Eldura R129 - £52.25
This is an extremely basic seat being belt fitted and offering 5 point harness (forward facing) from minimum 15 months (though better 2/3+ years) up to 105cm/21kg max and then converting to high back booster. In general, I would not recommend this style of seat but there are situations that they are useful. It is a trusted brand and R129 certified, both of which matter at this price point, and it is a good price for this specific model. If you can afford to spend more and don't need FF AND belt fitted, I would go for the Slimfit or the Turn2Me.

Maxi Cosi Nomad XL Plus - £109.81
This is a new style of travel seat which are everywhere at the moment and which do finally seem to offer a reasonable compromise on the combo of portable + affordable + safe. Although a RF option would be better, forward facing with harness secured with isofix + top tether is much better than nothing e.g. for taxi journeys, car sharing, or unexpected lifts, and seems to be cheaper and more compact to produce. There are options from other brands (Kinderkraft, Cosatto, MyBabiie, Bebeconfort) but Maxi Cosi have a trusted reputation and this deal brings their price more in line with the other brands. Note the non-XL version lacks the isofix/TT option, which IMO is what makes them finally a reasonable choice, safety-wise.

Booster seats (from 4-12 years, uses adult seatbelt)

Britax Kidfix Z-Line - £134.99
Maxi Cosi Rodifix M i-size - £74.98
Maxi Cosi Tanza i-size - £63.98
CBX by Cybex Solution B i-fix - £47.69
Selection of high back boosters, listed in order of premium-ness? I think these are all really good prices compared with their normal prices. Z-Line is Britax's amazon exclusive line. Maxi Cosi Tanza folds for travel. The Cybex is an older/more basic model, but well rated.

Bebeconfort Manga i-Fix - £27.98
Backless booster, which can be useful for children who have outgrown a high back booster but still find an adult seatbelt sits too high on their tummy or rubs their neck, or for keeping in the car as a spare for giving lifts. These are normally cheap as chips, but it's rare to see one with isofix (which this has) for under £30.

Happy to answer any follow up questions.

I cancelled my Amazon subscription some time ago.

Even though my purchases were but a drop in the ocean of Bezos's billions, I didn't want a penny going towards his dick pics & her plastic surgery. And as for that bloody phallic symbol space rocket!!! They're ridiculous people. Spend the money on (life on) earth first, not trying to reach other planets!!!

I buy things that are discounted 40% or more, that i've wanted or needed for a while. Like aircon for my campervan and portable wifi for the same thing.

I bought my laptop in one of the sales put on as competition to Prime Day last year.

Going back further my Kindle was on a PD deal

On Amazon PD, I usually check the makeup, stationery and art offers. Things I will use/enjoy.

DressOrSkirt · 24/06/2026 20:59

I've stocked up on my usual (color wow) shampoo and conditioner as it's a very good price. Other than checking my usual consumables I try to avoid it!
