Shorts or not shorts

Would you wear shorts to a pub lunch in this weather? I’m meeting an old friend. An old boyfriend from 50 years ago.

Yes… why wouldn’t you? Shorts are a very normal thing to wear for a pub lunch!

No but that's because I don't have any that aren't obviously exercise shorts.

Absolutely yes. It’s very hot and it’s the most comfortable thing to wear. I always look forward to wearing shorts.

Wear what you like and feel comfortable in. Beware sitting on a leather or plastic chair though, because like me, you will take it with you strapped to your bum when you stand up, if the backs of your legs get sweaty in this heat. You have been warned. 😊

I wear shorts all the time and I’m not young (53). I have good legs though.

I wouldn’t wear them as they look dreadful on me, but if they looked nice I would! I’d be more likely to wear a skirt or dress.

I would wear what I wanted, if it looks good, and is comfortable, why not?
I never wear shorts anymore, not for a long time but I do wear short skirts and mid-length and personally I think they are cooler on hot days.

He used to have a good head of hair, he’s now bald. I’ve seen a photo.
