A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour* *government. 💙

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Kemi’s comments on BBC Breakfast this morning were good.

Brilliant 👏

In the continuing tradition of me recommending podcasts, this week’s TRIM is good. Interview with Stephen Kelly, who was brought in by David Cameron to make savings in the Civil Service.

Not just you at all.
I feel so much lighter. 😁
Just waiting for Reeves to slither off to complete the set.
Will definitely raise a glass with a smirk if Bridget gets the chop.

So, so good. A big weight off and much lighter indeed. It even made me run a bit faster I may have sung a bit and punched the air 😅

Those two to go too and fab.

Kemi was good on Times Radio. I didn’t hear all
of it but I was really pleased the interviewer brought up that her personal ratings are the highest of all leaders.

Usually they can be derisory and no, she commands respect thanks!

Gcse's are over for DD1 she has to go into a A level induction next week. After I finished my GCSE's I had little worry about the economy the government, my employment future whether I go to University, there were all just an inevitable pathway. The comparison with what DD1 DD2 and DS are going to have to progress though could not be distinct and they come from extremely privilege backgrounds !
They might be ok given their backgrounds. However, in a country where it is impossible to go out without fear, where poverty and decay is visible everywhere outside small bubbles !

Agree one of mine is going to get three years reprive in uni and hope the economy is better when she gets out. The other has a few years yet and I hope doesn't go to uni.

I can't do the link, but there is a good Matt cartoon in today's Telegraph commenting on the diversity of the possible next Labour leader.
