Do you wear full makeup on a beach holiday.

We are in the canaries on holiday. I only use mascara and lipstick hoping my tan is enough.
This in my mind gives my skin a rest.
Last night we got talking to a group of people and all the ladies had full makeup on. (They looked lovely)
Am I the only one not to use full makeup.

When we went on a cruise round the canaries I would make an effort a wear full makeup on gala evenings and when we went to the posh restaurant. But I didn't bother during the day, it was too warm for a full face and if you are swimming, you won't want it.

Who cares what other people are wearing? If they jumped off a cliff would you follow them?

My mother has entered the chat 🙄

I wear the same makeup every day, foundation, eyebrow colour, blusher, mascara, lipstick. Makes no difference to me what I'm doing, if I'm on holiday or not. It doesn't seem like a full face to me. I'd only maybe put on a bit more like a heavier foundation, eyeliner and shadow if I was going to be filmed or presenting to a large audience.

Eyebrows, mascara and tinted SPF during the day and full face at night, I wear makeup every day it’s just part of getting ready to me.
i honestly wouldn’t notice nor care if other people had make up on or not it’s a choice for the individual. Your skin doesn’t need a rest, just wash off the makeup when you’re going to bed

Depends how hot it is. I was in Ibiza and it was something ridiculous like almost 40c and it just sweated off but as I had a lovely tan it didn't matter. I even came back and didn't wear foundation or bronzer for about a month.

Greece in October was 24c so make up was fine. Turkey early November was fine too.

I wear make most days here (if I'm leaving the house anyway).
