It's 10 degrees Celsius, and I have had to put my heating on!

It's JUNE!

A couple of weeks ago I had the fan on when I was in the house, and I was getting a suntan walking around Llandudno!

I'm sooooo cold!

Anyone else had to put the heating on?!

Weather is bonkers here in North Norfolk. So I’m a dog walker, two weeks ago, walking my six lovely doggies early morning and late evening, because it was so hot. Today, hailstones and thunderstorms on and off from late morning until 7 p.m. Shorts, vest, sun cream abandoned, me in layers, waterproof, gloves, still freezing. But the gorgeous daft border collie I can’t walk far enough (usually three miles) still went for a swim in the sea! The pugs, in their little leather coats didn’t want to go out, but they managed a quick stroll around the block, before settling down on their heated blanket.

According to some people, it’s either chem trials or geo engineering doing all this. Whatever your beliefs , I’m just happy to see the rain. Keep it cooler I say.

Me too.
In my defence,I'm 3 weeks post chemo ( bowel cancer, caught it ,cancer free but six sessions of intro and oral chemo) .
So I've cranked it up as my extremities are tingling.

My dh is currently having chemo for bowel cancer. Can I ask what your stage/grade was please? He has just finished his 3rd cycle and hopefully, only has 1 more cycle left. I could do with some advice tbh!

I dislike really hot weather but finding this current weather miserable, I don't mind the cold, I just hate rain.

I'm enjoying still having hot baths and a good nights sleep, I get so sleep deprived in summer, so hot and light all the time.

Hot weather can do one. I am becoming obsessed by watching the forecast and hoping it doesn’t forecast a heatwave. I just know that we will get them :(

Yes! I have heard this from a number of different sources now. Smile I can't wait!

I know extreme heat and mugginess is unpleasant, (and anything over 31-32C is a bit much,) but I really fail to see how anyone can be enjoying 12 degrees C, with a windchill of 9C, rain every day, brisk blowy winds, and flipping hail - (like someone posted a photo of earlier) in JUNE. It's summer FGS!

I saw that, but when I checked my area again today, they've downgraded the heatwave to 16c with a chance of rain and a north westerly wind.

I've had to have a large vodka to warm my feet up tonight. And my nose is an ice block.

Downgraded here too, we're going to be lucky to hit 17!

Its exactly 2 years since I met some friends from abroad, in London for a meal. They came for a holiday and bought summer clothes. That day it was 12° and dull/windy. My poor friend in a summer dress and sandals! I had boots and a lined jacket on. We walked along the Southwark which you'd expect to be full of people outside bars/restaurants, in summer, but it was desserted!
...so June has form for being a bit rubbish!
