I could pick out tunes on the piano from about age 3, then had lessons from age 6. Got to Grade 6 but often wish I’d continued to Grade 8. Playing the piano gives me so much joy. If I’ve had a bad day, I just lose myself in the music. Love to improvise & often record my pieces - a few people have said I should set up a You Tube channel 🎹🎵🎼🎶

Reverse parking (without cameras).
Not really a talent but I’m always surprised to see bad parking! I drive a regular sized vehicle day to day but also a much larger one sometimes (a truck) and I can always reverse it right into the middle of where I’m aiming for which makes me think I must have a super power 😂

That's so lovely to read. My talent was languages - I still keep one of them up and periodically wonder why the heck I didn't do modern languages at uni. I can do a lot of different accents which I guess helps. I have been mistaken for a local in the past when living abroad.

I can Fanny fart on command. I can also do this in the bath and then spray it out like a fanny fountain. 💦

I can sing well. It isn't a talent though, but a learnt skill. I've had lessons weekly since 2019.

I always cook exactly the right amount even though I never measure or weigh anything!

I am brilliant at headstands. The highlight of my teaching year is when we get to headstands in gymnastics. If my class is good, I give them a demo.

I have the very unfortunate super power of hyperosmia. I can sniff out the source of weird smells at 100 paces (and smell things on the turn way earlier than other people). My mates use me like a bloodhound.

Ermmmm no. I can walk into an ummodernised mouldy house and envision it done up and did that for a while but I think more a skill than a talent. My son’s (22) superpower is being able to strike up a conversation with anyone, no matter what age, demographic or what. He saw a council worker picking up rubbish and stopped and had a long chat with them. He knows the life story of any delivery guy. He goes to buy an air fryer and the manager is telling him he should apply for a job there. When he was 15 he got friendly with the local homeless guy and would sit with him for a couple hours some days just shooting the breeze. That’s his talent.
If I could chose one it would be singing. I’d love to be able to do that (my son can, like his dad).

Oh yes, this is me too.

I'm really arty and crafty and make all my own cards and paint in acrylic and now watercolour. It's my happy place.

I can tell the time to within under five minutes either way, without having looked at a clock for hours.

I'm surprisingly good at axe throwing and clay pigeon shooting on my first tries.

I have an uncanny eye for levelling and centering things e.g. pictures. Literally within a few mm. My husband doesn't bother measuring anymore just asks me to stand back and look.

I can pick up almost any physical skill very easily. New software, circus skills, crafting. I have a big collection of odd skills. Chain mailing, needle felting, crochet, fire staff spinning etc.

I'm exceptionally good at sleeping, even if I don't get to do it for nearly long enough.

And roast potatoes.

I have perfected the art of laying in!

Oh me too! I don't get to do it very often, but I'll wake up at around the time my alarm usually goes off, go for a quick wee then straight back to bed for another couple of (few) hours! Lovely! I'm a night owl so I feel this is completely justified!

I excel at sorting out zips. If someone can’t do their zip or it’s stuck, I’m your woman. Very handy in a class of 6 year olds…

I have amazing colour perception.

I'm a brilliant proofreader and can spot a typo while someone is flicking through a presentation even if I only see it for less than a second.

I'm really bendy. I can't just touch my toes, I can put both palms flat on the floor. I'm in my fifties and never especially worked on bendiness.

I really don’t have any talents 😭😭😭

I'm rather good at walking into a shop that's part of a large chain, and having a sixth sense that they have cashflow difficulties. Went into a V well known shop today. No names, no packdrill though. Off to Companies House to have a quick look at their last set of figures.
