Why would anyone buy three expensive coffee machines?

Why did Peter Murrell need 3 expensive coffee machines? I know this is the tip of the iceberg and there has been other threads.

But can't get my head round why anyone would need 3 of the same thing, when it's all rather pricey 😅

Never mind that why did he buy two hairdryers when he's bored?
I suspect there's a lot we don't know

She also very very firmly rebuffed any investigation into this when it started being mooted
whatever he was doing, she knew all about it. And it's no point trying to blame sexism now after everything she's done to real women's rights in Scotland

As I understand it there were questions from party members going back years about missing money. Didn't the SNP auditors resign because they didn't have proper access to accounts?
If I was running a country as head of this party, I'd make the time to look into that. Unless of course, I already knew where that money went!

Her role did not include daily oversight of the accounts though, the accounts were audited by external accountants, verified by the statutory body in Scotland (can't remember the name of the body). She was busy running the country. I do not run a country, but I do have a responsible job where I trust the people who report to me to do their job. She will have done the same while spinning all the plates her job required.

I actually do believe NS and I have never been a fan of her as a politician, ever.

Auditors and their Treasurer resigned because they couldn’t get access to the accounts, at a time when there were lots of questions being asked about party finances. As the party leader surely you’d make sure everything was as transparent as possible if you were certain there was nothing untoward.

Maybe he's starting a coffee YouTube live? Hoons coffee on YouTube comes to mind.

No words of defence for this man tho, he could have his three coffee makers but not expensed and she should have known

She signed them off when the treasurer refused to sign them. The auditors also resigned and they had to use some tiny firm in England as no one else would touch them. She is on video telling the NEC to stop asking questions. She is culpable.

and imagine believing her when she claims to have never used the kitchen oin her own home?🙄🙄 She is so clearly lying.

Hell no. Just explaining why someone may want 3 coffee machines.

You realise there’s a queue for your guest suite now? Grin
