Not a first world problem, but my team member went on maternity leave 7 weeks ago now and we’ve had no update since (office always sends an email declaring the birth of babies, and emailed when her twins were born a few years ago). I asked one of her close friends how she was yesterday and they simply replied ‘baby was born a couple of weeks ago’ but nothing else. I can’t work out if I should text and congratulate her (we are fairly friendly and do sometimes text outside of work but not close), or whether this all means something has gone wrong and whether to leave it?

It just feels a bit odd and one of those situations where I don’t quite know what (if anything) to say.

I'm worried my sunscreen lotion will make my pearls dingy.
(I'm typing this from my chaise longue. True story.)

You could send a ‘hope you’re ok’ text.

I couldn’t find a shop locally that had any paddling pools left so I got the tit on and sat inside watching Yellowstone.

I'm on a diet, so no ice cream for me from the freezer, I have carcinophobia so no drinks for me despite having a fair few on the weekend and earlier in the week. I can't sunbathe because I use tretinoin and my digestion is weird, I hope, because I joined in on the BBQ this weekend after being on a diet for so long.

I don't know who to contract for a bathroom renovation and I can't decide if we replace the bath or get a walk in shower.

I’ve got to sort out getting a really nice brand new car delivered to me and arrange for the other to go back. All it’s going to take is a couple of calls at work and it’ll be sorted.

I really can’t be arsed doing it, as I’ve got too much else on at work, but I know It’ll be nice having the new one.
