Not mine, but my son this evening after dinner proclaimed 'I want to have some ice cream but I think I'm too tired to eat it'...

OneDreamyGreenMentor · 24/05/2026 16:16

I’m struggling to choose the perfect stones to put in my garden water feature.

Beyondamountainandoverthesea · 24/05/2026 16:22

I have 1k to spend on some new clothes and I’ve no idea what to buy.

Livpool · 24/05/2026 16:22

I put foot cream on earlier and now my feet are slipping in my sandals 🤦🏼‍♀️

CoffeeNDogs · 24/05/2026 16:32

It's to hot for the dogs- I had an Agility competition booked and obviously pulled out. And now the idiots are actually sunbathing & panting like hell on the patio....

RonnieForteWhiskyTalkinNSOUL · 24/05/2026 18:39

We've run out of biscuits.

Crushed23 · 24/05/2026 18:51

All my problems are first world problems.

  1. I hate my high-paying, high-status, intellectually stimulating, work-perk-heavy job because my team annoy me.
  2. I am going to see one of my favourite DJs tonight for an outdoor rave and the weather is dire (I’m not in the UK before someone comes at me with ‘heatwave’)
  3. I am fit and healthy but I bloody look my age and don’t have the ‘glow’ or ‘glass skin’ women my age seem to be sporting now.
  4. I want more time off per year to travel - say a 3-month sabbatical every year. That would be ideal.
Ohwhatfuckeryitistoride · 24/05/2026 19:05

I have three vinted buys to collect. Two are at the post office in walking distance- but for the second week running the post office closed at 12 yesterday so I missed it. The other is at the top end of town, slightly too far to walk, but close enough for dh to winge getting the car out to collect it.

Cookingandfoldingthings · 24/05/2026 19:08

I have cooked a wonderful evening meal today - took hours - I did it for the love of my family, they had to eat early, enjoyed it & the elders have some to take home.
Now I’m too hot & tired to eat.

(& I also did some of their laundry as a favour, so hit both of my core activities - yeah, go me)

OrzoItaly · 24/05/2026 19:08

I’ve been able to order over £2,500 worth of products from TikTok shop this month from the free sample vouchers they’ve sent me, but now I need to film and post everything

Vroomfondleswaistcoat · 24/05/2026 19:09

I need a new riding helmet but I don't know what size to buy and the nearest shop is a long hot drive away.

Waaaaaahhhhh.

cloudysky75 · 24/05/2026 19:56

We went out for drinks and people watching this afternoon, before going to Morrisons and buying a shit load of food to cook tonight. I currently have 4 different types of meat in the oven and would rather carry on drinking vodka than mentally calculate the timings of everything.

Do what I do and just chuck everything in on one temp, set each timer separately on your phone with a label and hope for the best.

If one of the products is that free standing bubble shooter can you let me know if it’s worth it? My DD is nagging me for it and every review video is AI.

IWasTangoed · 25/05/2026 04:31

I left gift buying for a celebration a bit late and now have to order next day delivery. It costs a bit extra and it is totally my fault for delaying it but I feel a little resentful.

I need to know more!
I’ve been contemplating a new TikTok account for my garden patch and my gorgeous puppy… when you post, do you have to be in it? I’m back and forth in my mind because I don’t want to be on camera!

scalt · 25/05/2026 06:14

That my partner’s leave comes after the heatwave is over, weather is mostly forecast to be wet and windy, and we might have to rearrange a day out.

That I have to take my ancient car in for a part being product recalled. I have been assured that it’s free of charge and will only take half an hour, but I’m annoyed at having to do it.

That I’m not umpiring netball tonight because of the bank holiday, and the next tournament is likely to be rainy.

Sskka · 25/05/2026 06:50

I’ve got a lovely new chaise longue, but if sit on it for more than an hour and a half I feel restless and get all slack, and then I can’t get anything done. Life is hell.

(ps another one is getting annoyed at people (none of whom are on this thread) who don’t know what a ‘first world problem’ is. It doesn’t just mean you have a problem and you live in the first world! There was a woman on tv talking about going through her divorce and she shrugged and giggled and said ‘I know, first world problems’, and it made me want to scream)

Purpleturtle45 · 25/05/2026 07:31

The other day I found myself telling my kids not to eat pomegranates in the bath 🤣 (looked like a murder scene after) and thought that it is the most middle class thing I have ever said!

Allisgoodtoday · 25/05/2026 07:40

Too hot because of the weather - the air conditioning is costing me a fortune! Going to make a big dent in my pension this month.
But I'd rather not eat than be too hot.
(I hate summer).

I don’t mean to be dramatic but it has changed my life. I’ve landed loads and loads of ‘collabs’ from big brands and saved a fortune, plus making £1,000ish a month from sales. I never appear on camera but I do voice overs. It’s a long slog at the start but now I’m flying.

MagpiePi · 25/05/2026 18:27

I’m slouched in a camping chair and the front edge of the seat is digging into my bum cheeks.

ETA: …and my Garmin watch is making my wrist itchy but I cba to go and get some sudacrem to soothe it.

Feeling discombobulated whilst reclining on her new chaise longue- it's early days but this poster is a red hot contender for thread winner 😆

Sodonewithbeingachub · 25/05/2026 18:41

My air con unit hose broke and the new one is not coming until Wednesday. Luckily we have another air con unit downstairs to tide us over, but upstairs is as hot as Satan's butthole!
