80s TV Theme Tunes….warning..may contain earworms.

After doing a quiz about 80s TV on YouTube I’ve ended up with an earworm that I just can’t shake. Every time I stop consciously thinking about other stuff up it pops, sometimes aloud 🙄. Anyone else got a TV theme tune earworm that they’d like to share?

Raggy dolls theme tune and the shoe people- not sure if they just creep into the 90s.

I was just annoying the kids by singing the entire “poddington peas” theme yesterday. I love a nostalgic TV theme!

You can’t beat a good public information film @Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain ! We ended up buying a DVD of them….sad but great at the same time.

I used to love the song that the mice sang in Bagpuss….(in very high mouse tones)..We will find it, We will bind it, We will stick it with glue glue glue.

I’ve just looked it up and it’s sung to the tune of “Summer is Icumen In” which is also used in The Wicker Man. So that’s all good….Edited to add that I have just listened to it on YouTube and without the pictures it sounds less cute than creepy!

Others which stick in my mind The Grange Hill tune. The Poddington Peas. Wizbit woth Paul Daniels singing. Byker Grove and Fun House....it's a whole lot of fun, with prizes to be won!
