If you were stocking up for a heatwave

What would you buy? The weather is set to turn glorious here from Friday onwards and it is also half term. The plan is to get the garden ready, stock up on everything we need and pretend we’re on holiday!

Currently on the list is:

Burgers and Koftas
Pitta
Salads
Feta and Halloumi
ALL the dips
Ice lollies
Crisps
Wine
Chorizo
Fruit, yoghurt and pastries for breakfasts

Salty snacks (nuts etc)
Olives
Wine
Wine
More Wine

Popcorns
Pasta

Tomatoes, basil and mozzarella salad. Asparagus grilled on the bbq. A cocktail???? Strawberries and cream.

Ice creams. Loads of them. It’s going to be so hot!

Anyone know the forecast for Chester? Looked at 4 different weather apps and got 4 different forecasts !

Boiling I reckon. Get to Lidl for the above 🥂

I'm so jealous of you all even thinking about prepping for hot weather. Eat lots of ice cream for me!

I had a hospital appointment this morning and popped into home bargains and it was quite the contrast to see woman in coats and boots stocking up on pools, fans and outside toys for the weekend 😂

London looks like it's having a heatwave.

Of course we've decided to go away to the South East coast so we will see 19c maximum 😂

They’re already selling mini watermelons at acceptable prices. Scoop out one and put mixed fruit salad in?
Or cut it into wheels and then triangles (good for small children).
Make a sun sail by knotting an XL sheet between trees?
