It’s so easy to spin these things. I keep going back to the guy who was a prosecutor in many abuse cases when he said ‘ the easiest thing to do would be to keep quiet’. I don’t believe any child would want to go through what they had to, retelling those awful experiences, being disbelieved, death threats, hate mail, not for any amount of money. It’s just not worth it. Poor kids.

I know, and going back to what was discussed earlier people said that Jordan Chandler made it up because his dad made him do it.

What boy would make up a story where he said that the groomer/abuser stopped doing certain things when he told them he didn't like them, and then say that they did allow him to continue to do other things to them?

They just wouldn't, they would be terrified that people would think they were gay.

Thar new Netflix documentary is interesting. On 2nd episode now

Missohnoyoubetterdont · 03/06/2026 19:45

Thanks whoever reported the name calling. Totally unnecessary. Have got to the bit in the documentary where Frank, Jackson’s ‘best friend’ hands one of the other guys Vincent a bag of stuff from neverland during the time they were doing the raids so that it wasn’t found and confiscated. The bag contains magazines where videos for sale of young naked boys have been circled in order to purchase. I just can’t really believe that anyone would not find that incriminating.

SqueakyFromme · 03/06/2026 19:57

Scarlettjune · 03/06/2026 17:33

I disagree. She definitely isn't reasoned. She called me a ' really fervent pro- Michael fan' when I'm not at all. I've looked at both sides

Im not at all surprised as you disagree with every logical statement 🤷🏻‍♀️ par for the course

ETA and if that is your definition of ‘aggressive’ then I suggest you have a rethink

That is so disturbing

Yes, and just the tip of the iceberg. ☹️

FinchiePink · 03/06/2026 23:23

I just finished the Netflix documentary tonight. I didn't know a huge amount about the case previously (obviously I'd gathered quite a lot of the main details just because it was so high profile).

The main thing that struck me was the sheer level of dysfunction at every single level and on all sides in this case. Jackson, who clearly had a totally warped perception of right and wrong after growing up (although from the way he talked and lived I'd question how much he'd actually matured mentally and emotionally) in the media glare and with unimaginable wealth from a very young age, the families with traumatic back stories filled with domestic abuse and poverty whose vulnerability allowed them to be drawn in, the complete circus that is the US court system, and the slavish devotion of hardcore fans. And I didn't realise the ex-wife agreed to have children with him and effectively hand them over. It's so far beyond the realms of normality.

The whole thing feels like a fever dream or a drug trip.

Guilty or not guilty, it's clear there were absolutely no responsible adults looking out for anyone involved. I find the whole thing extremely sad.

Totally agree.

Shocking editing on the Netflix documentary. How are they allowed to do this?

The way that he and Debbie Rowe regard children as gifts that can be given is actually sick. Both of them are extremely selfish people who saw the children as possessions rather than human beings who deserved to have a relationship with both parents.

I had a conversation with someone recently about how unlikely it even is that the children are his as they don’t look like him in any shape or form. I said it was strange that he wouldn’t want his own children, especially in the light of how talented a musician he had been. And she said it’s probably because he hated his own race.

Bit of a leap. Paris and Bigi look like Michael. Prince has vitiligo too which is hereditary.

I guess the most important question re Paris, Bigi and Prince is did they grow up feeling loved?

If they’re not his own children, then perhaps he couldn’t have children.

He certainly didn't hate his own race...lots of reasons why I can confidently say that.

Wow 😮 Thank you for the link.

Also edited the Artizo part when Michael said he sleeps on the floor 🙄 Took that part out. I'd absolutely love it for the Jackson estate to sue Netflix. If trump can sue the BBC? Why is it any different ?😔

I don’t know how anyone can watch the new netflix documentary and still think MJ is innocent. That juror Melissa who is in utterly in awe of MJ and just seems to have found him not guilty because “they all want his money”
Beggars belief really.

poig · 04/06/2026 10:08

and that lawyer Thomas Mesereau screaming so loudly at Gavin Arvizo that people down the street could hear. Absolutely sickening.

fundamentallyauthentic · 04/06/2026 10:14

The documentary was never going to be a proper assessment of the trial. No company would finance it. Diane Dimond has never impressed me and Bashir added nothing new.

Hmm, I'm afraid I think he's covering himself here. It does look strikingly similar to the Last Supper to me.

Just because they are sat at a long table?

No, because of the poses, the framing. The ones to the left of MJ are leaning away from the centre in the same manner, for example. The group on the right bring to mind the poses and gestures of the three on the far right of the Last Supper.

It's not identical, but there are certainly some clear parallels.

Missohnoyoubetterdont · 04/06/2026 10:50

No one could look at that painting and not think it was based on the last supper. Surely?
