Three women's bodies found in the sea at Brighton

This is absolutely heartbreaking.

Why didn't anyone report three women were missing?

If it's a Channel crossing, from what I understand, it's rare that women go on the boats from France, and when they do they are pushed to the back / bottom, where the risk of being crushed is high.

If it's not a crossing, what on earth has happened?

Words can't express how evil this is.

Yeah, no sooner did I post that it would be upsetting to see their faces, there they were. 😭

Three absolutely beautiful young women. And sisters, too, not just cousins! How must their parents feel. Utterly tragic.

No further words. Just 😮

What a Tragedy , I just read their father's statement , I hope their family are receiving the support they need. May they rest in peace.

PrincessOfPreschool · Today 16:37

They were clearly close to go away all together in their 30s. So so utterly tragic.

Their father’s statement is absolutely heartbreaking. You can tell how proud he was of his lovely DDs.
My heart goes out to them all.

I haven't heard of throw bags. Assume they're some kind of inflatable?

As far as I know, the life rings at Brighton are just the ordinary kind, but I don't know for sure.

They are just rope coiled into a red cylinder shaped bag - you keep hold of one end of the rope and throw the bag to the person in the water, and then reel them in with the rope. I’ve practiced both sides of the rescue and they are very effective (in rivers at least)

Have the details been released?

How do you know these are black women?

Sadly, I can see that the details of these three women have just been released.

Heartbreaking.

Only just heard the tragic news - poor poor family. I really hope they are given some space. That’s a beautiful photo they’ve shared.

How awful - the poor family, losing three children in this way.
