Do you believe the Michael Jackson allegations?

For me it’s undeniable and the evidence is overwhelming, but I’m shocked by the amount of people who don’t.

Yes of course. The evidence is overwhelming

The programmes that people need to watch are

Finding Neverland
The Trial
Michael Jackson - an American Tragedy

Leaving Neverland you mean?

Picoloangel · 07/05/2026 17:20

100 % believe they are true. I am baffled that anyone doesn’t believe the allegations.

I have vitiligo and I’ve never seen anyone with Vitiligo have an all over bleaching effect like Jackson had. It’s usually like Winne Harlow in small or large patches, and it grows over many years not overnight!

His mum talked about it at one point. She said he didn't want patches all over so he just decided to go completely white as it'd be easier than trying to cover the white patches with make-up as they were getting bigger. Going from memory but that was the jist. I also believe he started skin bleaching and then developed vitiligo as a consequence though.

True. I do wonder how many of these fans who insist on MJ’s innocence would drop their own 9yo son off for a sleepover chez Uncle Michael.

That's a different question than whether he's guilty or not though. And no one has said what he was doing with the sleepovers wasn't highly inappropriate and wrong.

But no you don't ever take that kind of risk.

ShizeItsWeegie · 07/05/2026 20:10

I think the whole Neverland thing was designed to cover up his paedophilia and it worked for years.

I'm astonished that the world has not turned against him. He was incredibly talented I suppose but yuk!

There's no way he would have paid out all that dosh if he wasn't a paedo.

A bit like Andrew Mountbatten paying millions to a “woman he never met.”

Squirrelsnut · 07/05/2026 20:15

Yes I do.
The current film's success baffles me.

James Safechuck and Wade Robsons lawyers have alleged that there have been up to 20 families who were paid off. It will be interesting to see what information is brought to the upcoming civil lawsuit.

@magikarpediem

This is obviously not proof of anything but the fact Chandlers dad killed himself shortly after MJ died is pretty odd to me.

The dad had a very serious degenerative disease and I believe he may have also had cancer too.

But from the Vanity Fair investigation, he was not the only one who did:

"Two of the fathers of those who have accused Jackson, Jordie Chandler and Wade Robson, committed suicide. Both were estranged from their sons at the time."

Handeyethingyowl · 07/05/2026 23:58

100% believe.

Wade Robsons dad killed himself in 2002 and Wade didn't make any accusations against MJ until 2013.

I am guessing you mean public accusations? You don't think he might have had a conversation with his father about his childhood abuse at any point prior to his death?

I told my mother when I was abused as a child, but she didn't believe me.

Yes, well I'm not sure if Wade told his dad, I'm guessing not, he said his dad suffered from bipolar and that he had anxiety and depression as he was convinced that Wade had been molested, so seeing his dad in that state it's very likely that he wouldn't have confirmed his fears.
Also I don't think Wade saw it as abuse at that time.

Jordan Chandler said he tried to tell his mother and that she didn't believe him.

I'm so sorry that that happened to you.

thehaplessgardener · 08/05/2026 00:18

Thank you. I should stay off this thread. I am finding it quite upsetting to have so many people looking for loopholes and disbelieving children just because they like MJ and his music.

thehaplessgardener · 08/05/2026 01:16

I mean, seriously, on a parenting forum, where people supposedly care about children, why would you disbelieve all the children who have spoken out about their sexual abuse at a certain age by MJ - he had a very defined age range, like most paedophiles, and moved them on once they passed it.

It quite astonishing how people are prepared to overlook the appalling things he did and make excuses isn’t it?

XMissPlacedX · 08/05/2026 11:13

I’m on the fence too. Would hate to accuse someone that was innocent, but equally would hate to back someone that was guilty. Any parent that would take a pay off from a man that they think abused their child is not credible in my opinion, but at the same time he did seem to have a strange fascination for young boys. I’ll stay on the fence I think.

ShizeItsWeegie · 08/05/2026 11:52

Should have been called Netherland.

I believe the lady that worked for him and the things she saw.

I'm astonished that one person is going to see that film. It should all just be let go as an artifact of the past.

YourAmplePlumPoster · 08/05/2026 17:09

He was cleared by a court of jurors. I went to see the movie because I like his music and saw him at a concert in 1992. Why do you think someone is guilty when they have had a trial and been found not guilty? Do you think we need some other kind of justice system where someone is tried on twitter or social media? Would like to know.

Effervescentfrothy · 08/05/2026 07:45

But a jury found him not guilty. Would you like to dispense with the jury system? Let's do that and just have public lynching and vigilantes.

YankTank · 08/05/2026 17:15

There was one trial. With one child. He did not go to trial for any of the many other children. One acquittal for one child does not equal a blanket “not guilty” for every other child in his web.

YourAmplePlumPoster · 08/05/2026 17:19

I understand the jury system in the US is quite strict with jurors being filtered out for possible bias so all the jurors were screened before the trial.

He was cleared by a jury. What other kind of trial would you like to have? Is it one where gangs go around killing or beating people they think are guilty as in the third world?

He was acquitted for Gavin Arvizo. The other victims never got their day in court. I never mentioned gangs—that’s on you. You ask what kind of trial I’d like to see? One where the other victims got their day in court. Simple.
