Anyone else have a soft spot for Yungblood?

I'm irresistibly drawn to Yungblood. I'm old enough to be his grandmother, perhaps it's a Mum crush, and I'm thinking along the lines of he'd be a lovely son.
Do you like or dislike him? and why?

Mine too and I don't know why! I just get the feeling there's something sinister about him every time I see him.

I don’t think he’s sinister, I think he’s an actor playing the part of a rockstar and that insincerity becomes obvious the more you study him. He will get bored of being Yungblud sooner or later and go back to musical theatre.

I find his working class act a bit tedious from such a private school boy but he seems a nice enough guy. As he should be.

That's when I first discovered him too. I think he's great.

I really like him and what he is putting out to the world that it’s ok to be different and I think he is great live. Just been to see his idols tour and he was amazing 🤩

I like him even if he is 'pretending' to be a rockstar. He puts his all into his performances and appears to really care about his fans. I also remember him playing Belle Dingle's boyfriend on Emmerdale.

He reminds me of someone I know who isn't famous, but has a clothing brand and does the same.

He wouldn't have been on my radar at all, but I met him at a party a little while back. He turned down the offer of booze and asked if he could "possibly have an orange juice, if that's not too much trouble". Call me his target demographic, but I bloody loved that about him.

I saw a clip from the LT documentary where he got a call from his mum to get some milk (I think). He said the the taxi driver "excuse me, excuse me sir, can we go to the shop please. Thank you", he apologised to LT and ran in to get his mum some milk. I really loved how polite he was.

That is when I realised I was old. 🤣

I'd like to think that how he comes across is, for the most part not a cynical publicity act. But I wish he wouldn't swear quite so much, just no need!

I don’t find him attractive at all - he doesn’t have the kind of face that does it for me at all. The opposite, actually. But I do think he’s extremely talented and charismatic and a brilliant performer. He also seems like a nice bloke.

In general, I love seeing interesting-looking, flamboyant pop / rock stars making it big. Bland, clean cut performers bore me. If I had a teenage daughter, I’d secretly be disappointed if she was into blandly handsome boy bands singing dull love songs.

Yup! I’m too old also, but would be delighted for my my DDs if either of them brought a lovely well brought up lad smothered in eyeliner home. Amazing voice too.

Wut? Jack White is a totally different thing, image wise. Completely different roots and expression.

I looked at some more and as far as I can tell he’s like a composite of Robert Smith, Keef Flint/ Johnny Rotten with an early 2000s edge.

Can’t stand him. There’s a video of him giving Ozzy a pendant as a gift and the way he was talking to Ozzy was just so patronising. I had to turn it off, it was cringeworthy.

I loved him until he called JKR a twat and now think he’s an idiot.

He seems ok though have no idea about his music. I've never understood the appeal of the Osbornes who he seems to adore.

I love him (I am 53). Just been to see him on his recent UK tour. I love his music but also that he seems a lovely genuine guy. He cares about people. Live he is full of energy and seems to be having the best time. It’s infectious.

Yes, 54 yrs old and have a bit of a crush. Lovely bloke. Could cut down with the swearing. His intentions are good and rare.
