Anyone else have a soft spot for Yungblood?

I'm irresistibly drawn to Yungblood. I'm old enough to be his grandmother, perhaps it's a Mum crush, and I'm thinking along the lines of he'd be a lovely son.
Do you like or dislike him? and why?

I like him. He seems switched on, articulate, sensitive and down to earth. I don't care if he went to private school. It seems his father had a fairly successful music career, don't know about his mother. And I've had no idea who MGK is but perhaps he had his reasons for not defending him.

Men with lip fillers don't really do it for me. But I've seen a lot of love for him on here so maybe he is a 'mum crush'?

Love him. Went to see him at the O2 a couple of weeks back.

He seems like a lovely person.

I do wish he would swear less though. I swear a fair amount myself, but when it's practically every other word it starts getting a bit annoying.

Where’ve you got it that he’s got lip fillers? His bottom lip looks swollen due to scar tissue from his teeth biting through it when he was punched.

Same. Plus his music is a pile of shite. And he's a posh theatre kid pretending to be working class.

I saw him in Sheffield. Not a huge fan of his music and I dont fancy him in anyway. The show was ok but an odd atmosphere. I cant say why.

As someone else said, his stage persona seems quite forced and not natural. He is clearly inspired by people (which isnt a bad thing) but it did seem like he was acting.

He plays up to the older women. 🤣 Although some are a disgrace. I joined some Facebook groups to get some background/tips before the gig and there are women who are old enough to know better acting like children, being mean about his girlfriend and being very crude about him. Apparently some were trying to pull down his trousers at some gigs.

From the interviews I've seen, he seems like a genuingely nice guy.

I am concerned he is going to burn out though. It is A LOT for him.

I think he has an overly tactile and oddly close relationship with his young fans. It’s very needy and some might describe it as inappropriate.

Well why does he look like he does then? Obviously neither of us know for sure but I do know what filled lips look like. So either way it's a very unfortunate look that doesn't look natural.

I'm not knocking anyone else on here for liking him. I said I could see he was popular.

No not for me. He comes across as forced and fake, sorry! Everything seems like it’s an act. I don’t get good, genuine vibes from him at all. My teenaged son says he’s a “wet wipe”.

I can't believe anyone got nice guy from the Louis Theroux interview! His brand is anxiety vampire. He exploits his fans' anxiety and its his brand. Really dodgy.

I haven’t heard him talk or listened to his music but he irritates me no end.
I just looked him up and I can barely find a single photo where he’s not gurning or doing that stupid mouth open wide pose.
And his stage name is really stupid.

theres some of his songs that I don’t mind, but he’s too fake/poser for me to be a big fan of.

He's a theatre school kid, so a lot of his rock star stuff is him acting, same as when older ladies assault grab hold of him at his shows, he pretends to be delighted and flattered, when inside he is probably dying. He's no more authentic than One Direction were. In fact, he went to the same private school as some of Louis Tomlinson's siblings.
