I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, in my conservatory spot, with dd2. Both cats are bird watching and ekekek-ing at the birds in the garden this morning. Dd2's chattering away filling my lovely silence 🤣.

She's heading off to the shopping outlet down the road, with her friend, in about an hour, to do some revision. Friends mum is driving them, and then collecting them in a few hours.

I spent yesterday afternoon gardening, after B&Q, so am going to spend the day finishing off in the conservatory and sanding the bookshelf to go in here. The rose is finally re-potted - whether she regrows or not remains to be seen 🤔.

Dd1 has no plans so will be roped into something...she'll no doubt complain about that.

No idea what's for tea, no-one got anything out to defrost so it'll be something from the freezer. Possibly followed by trifle since I still owe dd1 a trifle from her birthday when her dad bought masses of cakes 🤣.

After that my usual Self-Care-Sunday scrubby everything shower and an hour with book or crochet, as always, then bed 💤.

Not much planned, the weather is living up to bank hol weekend and it’s awful today. Been up since 6am just relaxing in bed. 😂
Doing a roast beef dinner today though. 😋

Good morning lucysmam and others. I love trifle! I can't be trusted with it though, especially if I have a spoon in my hand.
Later today, my 2 grandsons will descend for a sleepover. I saw them both yesterday and dgs1 is very excited. Tesco yesterday delivered all their favourite food and drink. They will probably annoy each other, both demand my attention at the same time and be exasperating and lovely at the same time. And eat all afternoon and evening. The cry will be, " grandma, I'm hungry" and grandma will oblige. Enjoy your Sunday everyone

I love a BH Sunday/weekend. About to nip to Aldi for some shopping. Have some friends coming for lunch/dinner so doing a lemon/garlic/herb roast chicken, Salads and new potatoes. Not sure what to get for pudding. Choir Rehearsal tonight then may rewatch The Devil Wears Prada ahead of the cinema tomorrow to see the sequel.

Pouring with rain here, so an inside day i guess.
Just finishing my breakfast before I go to my class.
We need a new kitchen tap and a new mop, so a trip to B&Q should do for both of those.
F1 has been brought forward to 6pm, so another tv dinner. Maybe greek lamb stew 😋
Other than that not much planned.

It’s my birthday! Still in bed with a coffee and ddog. A bit of gardening today, long walk this evening and then take away tonight with my choice of film… any suggestions?

Good Morning Everyone

Im in bed having cups of tea and a croissant just relaxing. It’s lovely. No hard plans today just general tidy and dog walks.

DS and DCat 1 have joined DH and I in bed and it’s lovely. Just chatting.

DD has friends for a sleepover but not expecting them to be awake anytime soon.

DH got some nice steaks from the butcher and is cooking them off for tea tonight.

Good morning everyone, not a lot planned here today, the chickens need a good clean and the dog needs a brush as he is malting a lot. Our oldest was on a sleepover last night so he won’t be home until lunch time, our littely is out with her Papa to buy some flour so we can have some pancakes for a late breakfast.

I’m still in bed but I didn’t fall asleep until 3:00am and woke up again around 6:30am. We’re heading to the monthly farmers market this morning so I’m about to jump up and shower then get ready. After the market I’ll swing by Lidl then M & S to collect an order.

Today will be designing and working on my website. The fridge needs a clear out too. Regarding dinner, I think I’ll roast and chop up some chicken thighs and serve them with a pearl couscous vegetable salad. Yoghurt and fruit for dessert most likely.

I am in Mallorca and we have a huge thunderstorm overhead so all the cats are in hiding. We’re off to a outdoor live music venue later on today so praying it clears up!! Currently resetting fuses which are tripping and assuring cats that the world isn’t ending and we aren’t all going to drown.

Ds and I are off to Comic Con in about half an hour. We go twice a year and this is our 10th anniversary!

Good morning everyone, it’s cloudy and quite chilly here. We’re forecast thunderstorms by lunchtime.
i have put the chicken in the oven, ratatouille is being cooked and there are new potatoes ready to cook.
I have been rifling through my fabric stash for materials to use for snippets, I’nm definitely hooked on embroidery at the moment.
Little else planned, a quiet day for me x

I’ve been struggling with a horrible cold all week which is lingering so trying to take it reasonably easy today.

There will probably be quite a lot of scrolling interspersed with reading my book and watching a film. I do however want to give the bedroom windows a clean and will see if the rucksack DD used for cub/scout camps is going to be ok for her DOE bronze walk in a couple of weeks.

Delderly gentleman cat needs to have his coat brushed as he’s not managing to wash all of his fur now so will give him a bit of a tidy up🙂.

Roast chicken for tea with all the trimmings and that lovely BH feeling of knowing we don’t have to get up for work/school tomorrow!

DS has a friend round to game. DH is trying to distract himself from the pain of the knee surgery he had on Friday. I really should do something rather than faff about on MN. Maybe I'll plant my new clematis.

MIL is coming to look after DH this afternoon so DS and I can go to a country house fete.

Good morning @lucysmam & everyone. Another grey rainy day here in Cornwall but working later so I don’t mind. DH & I were typically awake just after 6 on a day when we could lie in. I made a cuppa around 7 & did a few bits in the kitchen, including taking clothes out of the tumble dryer. We had the cuppa in bed, both doom scrolling. DD17 went out for a short walk. Now having brekkie (malted choc wheats) after which I’ll make a 2nd cuppa. Already laid out my uniform for work. Visiting DM at the care home when I finish my shift. Nice not to have to think about tea tonight as DH is making a Jamie Oliver carbonara with pancetta, mint & peas. Never seem to be able to get fresh podded peas for it, even when they’re in season. Fancy a bit of pampering & may dust off my foot spa. I have some lovely Sanctuary foot butter for a massage afterwards. Have a great Sunday all.

Booked a bouncy castle slide for my daughters 6th birthday yesterday and have it all weekend, so it’s birthday party 2.0 today, hope the weather isn’t too bad

DS and DP are both away until tomorrow (DP on a stag do, DS is with his dad) so I have the whole weekend to myself. I had a lovely long lie in, put a load of washing in and I am now relaxing on the settee watching a film with a coffee. It’s cold and wet here so I’m not leaving the house, going to have a picky dinner then treat myself to a takeaway for tea then have a looooong hot bath and early night!

A very chilled day planned here. I’m still in bad after waking at 5.45 and forcing myself to go back to sleep.
My dmum is in hospital so it’s been a stressful week of visiting and I haven’t slept well. Dsis is visiting mum today so a day off for me. Dh has gone food shopping, we’re going to go for a big walk after dropping ds2 at work, cook a roast and that’s about it. Maybe try to find a good film to watch this evening.
A day of regrouping and recuperation before the next onslaught, as mum is booked in for surgery on Tuesday.

Dh has had to go into work this morning. I've had a coffee in bed and really need to get up. I'm finding that before my period I am so, so tired I feel like I could sleep all day, not write my OU assignment or tidy up dds bedroom so she can have some friends over. So those are the things i should be doing today! We are having homemade beefburgers for dinner so looking forward to that later.
