Good morning all! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, in my conservatory spot. The cats have had breakfast & I can hear the girls playing with girl cat. Boy cat's gone to see what's going on. The washer's on for uniform and work stuff, I've put last night's pots to soak, and had a tidy round in the kitchen.

I'm off for a wander of the big B&M today. I want new tea/coffee/sugar pots to go with the newly decorated kitchen (if they have any), and some more gloss paint. B&M will tell me the rest of my list 🤣. I'll pick up some gold and silver markers from The Works nearby while I'm there.

Dd1's at work so isn't coming - she wants to go to top up some bits before heading back to London but we'll do that another day.

Dd2 is currently scrolling Vinted for gold heels, after picking her prom dress yesterday 😊. She's gone for a teal/green colour & it fits like it was made for her! Just needs <that> much off the bottom once she has her shoes on.

When I'm back, I'll sand either the bookshelf I want to re-vamp for the conservatory, the filler at the end, or both 🤔 so I can carry on painting tomorrow. I've invited a few friends for drinks in a fortnight so would like it sort of done by then.

Tea is leftover Chinese takeaway with a couple of glasses of wine. Then chill for what's left of the evening before bed so I'm up early ish tomorrow.

Good morning @lucysmam , what a glorious sunny morning.
So far I have cleaned the kitchen windows and the windows in my Shed, put on a load of washing and eaten mushrooms and egg on toast.
i was just watching on iPlayer DGS1 in the under 14’s TCS mini marathon, his younger brother is running a bit later. I am very proud of them both.
DH has walked tiddler, he’ll take bigger dog out in a bit.
I don’t have anything planned today, pizza for dinner and more embroidery will get done.
Still waiting for PET CT Scan results, it’s nearly two weeks now and although I know it’s stage 4 I really need to see an oncologist and find out what’s next…. My urgent 2 weeks cancer pathway referral was in late February 😬😵‍💫

I’m going back to a shop to order an electric bike this morning, DH is having one as well. We are both cyclists but my health issues means I need a bit of help now. They are to go in our Motorhome. We will also start to plan the route we are taking for a six week trip, friends have just got back to me this morning as we are visiting two lots on our travels. I did a bit of t’ai chi in the garden at 6am and had some tea.

I have an ex colleague mate popping round for coffee. She will relay the current state of the Univeristy I used to work in and give me the gossip. We will probably have a BBQ this evening as it’s nice again. I also hope to fit in another episode of a box set.

I am on my second coffee sitting in a sunny spot in the lounge. Children (7&9) are next door watching kids YouTube, having just eaten shop bought chocolate waffles 🫠

I will snap into action in a minute as I have work call at 10am. Then it’s getting ready to take my mum out for a cream tea to say thank you for all the last minute school picks up this week.

This afternoon will be baking and cleaning. Dinner will be spaghetti bolognaise.

Had my cuppa and will do spring cleaning soon. DH will be cleaning windows outside while I do inside. They're filthy and I keep putting it off.

He's off to the footy later and I'm going to have a look round the charity shops then watch the footy on TV.

He'll have had a few when he gets home and I'll be making a fake away or he'll order an extortionate amount of Just Eat!

I love the sunny days.

I've had a tea and coffee so now time for breakfast which will be a bacon sandwich in a squidgy soft roll I picked up yesterday 😋

Then into town for some 'essential' holiday bits as I fly out at the end of the week. Then home to sit in the sun in the garden ☀️ DH is away this weekend so I have the house/garden to myself which is lovely!

Good morning. I have been for a run, DH is in Germany watching his Son run the Dusseldorf Marathon and my DM is here for the weekend. Both DC are at Uni so Mum and I are going for a wonder around the town and I am going to show her the new house we are trying to buy. Hoping for a relax in the garden later, if it was anything like yesterday it will be a lovely day.

Drinking tea in the garden with my merlin app currently. Nothing super interesting about but I did pick up a little owl twice recently.

Small family tea party later for a relative's birthday, preceded by drinks at the lovely hotel round the corner. Looking forward to that!

Sunny but chilly here.

We're just about to leave for swimming, DC2 (who swims at a higher level) is swimming earlier today as she has a party at 11:30. So we'll be rushing home / quick change into her party outfit and then we're out again.

I'll get on top of some washing and chores and maybe take DC3 for a run around the park.

After the party we are planning a bike ride. DC3 isn't confident enough to fo along the canal yet so we'll have to find something she can manage.

Dinner is homemade burgers, wedges and salad.

Cheers me right up after a rubbish week.
I'm sat in the garden having my first brew of the day after a glorious lie in.

DS is on the xbox chatting to his mate, dogs have been fed and are now lying in various awkward looking positions in the sun, DH is still in bed.
Plan for the day is to continue stripping the 150 year old paint from the front door and bay window ready for repair and painting next week while the boys head off out for a bike ride.

I really must hang out the 3rd load of washing ive done this morning after the dreaded pile from holiday, Ive obly just caught up!

Good morning lucysmam and others. It's cloudy here- a change from yesterday. I am having a slow start today. I've had 2 coffees and a bowl of porridge. I'm about to stir my stumps and strip the bed, wash and dry the sheets etc and change the duvet cover. Then I will do a small ironing from yesterday. Later, I'll clean the bathroom and potter around the garden. Enjoy your day all..

I'm currently fighting off a migraine with coffee and drugs. Adult dd is coming over shortly and we're going out for a cooked breakfast somewhere.

Good morning lucysmam and to u all . Been up early as got my 2 grandchildren as daughter got a meeting in work so my house is like a bombsite . They will be goin soon then il clean up and then we are clearing out husbands shed as so many tools in there it’s ridiculous and I’ve been nagging him for months to sort it out. Chinese later with a few wines . Have a great and safe day all 🫶

I love the Merlin app too @ShipshapeShore, I drive my DH mental when we are walking the dogs and I keep making him stop to pick up the birds. I want to get binoculars so that I can see them too!

Just having a quick cup of tea in bed and will be heading to the shower shortly so that I’m ready to pop into town to meet a friend for a coffee.

The dogs will be taken out for a lovely long run later, and then off to a friends for drinks and nibbles, her son turned 18 and he is away on holiday so we are having a party to celebrate her being a mum for 18 years!

About to pop out for a top up shop
in the moment as am desperate for a cup of tea, have totally run out and coffee doesn’t cut it for me!

DD14 has an absolutely stinking cold so she is snuggled on the sofa watching Waterloo Road on her laptop.

Hoping to get out in the garden this afternoon with my book - it’s been a busy week so will be good to relax while the weather is good🙂.

DW and I had coffee and cake on the way into town to open our art gallery. I've already sold a few local cards. We are booking a coach trip and overnight stay to London for next weekend later.

Might message DC who is at uni, but will have to wait until at least midday, and even that is pushing it :)

Morning all!
Lovely sunny day here after a gorgeous week. I've got the washing machine on and I'm just finishing my first coffee in the garden. DH is just about to fire up the BBQ to start a giant pork shoulder with charsui style seasoning then he's going to work on the house for a bit.
I'm feeling a bit inexplicably jittery (joys of peri). We haven't had a chilled weekend for a while and I think I've forgotten how. I don't even have much on the to do list! I have an ongoing struggle with relaxation - I might do some yoga later as that often helps. And maybe a bath.
Just about to make some poached eggs for breakfast and get DS off his laptop. He'll have a blast on his trumpet then I'll see what he fancies for the day. He's autistic so finds the school week quite exhausting. He'd prefer every weekend to be pajamas and screens but I'm always spoiling his fun by making him go outside and do things. So unreasonable. Or he might have some wild, extravagant quest he wants to get into, it's either nothing or everything! I did find a to do list in his room last week with just the one item: build moon rocket but hopefully he's moved on from that.
Dinner will be the aforementioned pork - not sure about sides yet - and a couple of glasses of rosé. Have a great day everyone.

Slow morning so far. Kids are making a fairy garden outside with DH and I have been pottering about. Eldest daughter has an eye test this afternoon after complaining in the week that her eyes feel fuzzy so we will go into town for that and have a look around the charity shops and pick up some food for tonight’s BBQ. Then BGT on the sofa. Nice easy day here as the next month is hectic so looking forward to a relaxing weekend.

Goodness everyone is so productive! I’ve just had breakfast and I’m watching Sun, Sea and Selling Houses on the iPad with the back door wide open. My DD went back to uni last night arriving there at 1.20am! I wasn’t happy about her 20 minute walk back to her shared house but she said a late train was cheaper and she’s far too mean to get a taxi. So I was up til she confirmed she was home safe - and of course that wasn’t until 2.30am after she did her ablutions and was tucked up in bed!
Tomorrow I’m off to see my son on the IOW for a couple days so today it’s tidy up the house, mow the lawn, do some laundry. Very dull domestic day. Tonight I’ll cobble a dinner together - don’t really enjoy cooking and certainly not just for me!

Good morning @lucysmam & everyone - another beautiful day here in Cornwall. When I went out yesterday, I don’t think I’ve ever seen the sky so blue & the sea looked amazing. Awake with DH around 6 & he brought me a cuppa in bed before he left to start work at 8. He’ll pop in shortly for a coffee & to feed the bunnies. DD17 has been awake for a while & getting ready for her friend to come (well, it’s her ex GF & I’m still unsure whether they have got back together). I’ll collect her from the station later. Dishwasher needs doing & there’s some washing to bring in & another load to hang out. Will hoover up the rabbit poo after breakfast, which is yummy chocolate malted wheats. Not long back from the PO where I posted 3 Vinted parcels & collected 2. A Per Una occasion dress & a cute diamanté owl brooch - like I need any more of either! Working this aft then a few bits from Tescos & home. Might go for a walk with DH or drive to see the sunset somewhere. Pizzas for tea. Have a great Saturday all!

I have been up a while. Had tea and did my puzzles. More tea with some toast. Got dressed. Emptied dishwasher. Am about to go for my walk. Will have a coffee when I get back.

I need to go to the post office and a quick supermarket shop.

DH and DS are heading to Wembley for the football this afternoon. They will be gone most of the day. I’m planning on weeding and sorting the raised beds along our patio. Possibly a garden centre trip although might wait until we take out two big scrubs that have outgrown their space and have a proper look at it all then. All the pots need sorting too and watering. Hoping for an hour in the sun with my book too.

Not sure what I will have for dinner. There is a fish pie in the freezer but not sure it appeals….. Might have a couple of glasses of rose. Watch some tv and an early night.

Morning @lucysmam and the Saturday morning posters. I was up early to drop DD to work. I'm heading to the supermarket in a little while. We had a beautiful, sunny day here yesterday and it's nice again today. Once I've unpacked the shopping, I'm going to drive to some nice gardens about 40 minutes away. The housework can wait until tomorrow . Should probably dig out some sunscreen. Anyone else finding it hard to know what to wear this time of year? The mornings and evenings are still quite chilly, but then it gets very warm during the day.

Have been at our place in Spain for 3 weeks already.
DH, dog and me are staying at an Airbnb about 80km away. Vejer de la frontera.
Our town has been taken over by bikers.
It's the Jerez moto Gp.
It's so noisy and busy I couldn't sleep.
Unfortunately the village we are in is a white one, composed mainly of steps.
I shouldn't think I will be leaving the property. There were 86 stair steps and about a kilometre of steep slopes to get to the local shop

Morning all. I've had a bit of a lie in as was up in the night with period pain. Honestly, bring on the meno at this rate. DH has brought coffee in bed and I've done a couple of work emails and my budget planning. I'm going to set some washing on and sort out the clean laundry, ironing probably tomorrow. That's a Sunday job.

I've got my click and collect grocery delivery at 11.30, then will do some work on my MBA dissertation this aft while dh watches the match. Lunch will be salad or avocado on sourdough. I like shopping day as restock all my nice salad bits. I'm currently obsessed with baby fiery beetroot and had to stop eating it last week as my mouth was sore!

We will go for a walk this afternoon down by the river or to see the baby lambs. Dinner is a veggie curry with naan bread. Then some TV tonight, we are watching Fallout, with a glass of wine
