God, can you imagine being on the Amsterdam flight, almost landing in Leeds 4 times and then heading back to where you started from after all that?

The Wroclaw one doesn't even seem to have come close to landing. Lots of fly overs but no descents. I'm guessing that with the other airports maybe getting a bit congested they're trying to find other options.

Ryanair are a nightmare for not wanting to give in and pay for people’s onward transport or hotels etc! I was once on a flight from Ireland to UK in a massive snow storm. EasyJet had cancelled all their flights, so had Aer Lingus but Ryanair refused and said if we didn’t board we wouldn’t get our money back. It was the most terrifying flight of my life.

Amsterdam to Newcastle has landed in Edinburgh

I think I’d prefer that - hotel in Amsterdam and try again tomorrow - to Edinburgh on a BH weekend with another KLM flight also diverted there so buses at a premium and then a long road trip in a storm (or hotel then road trip).

I know. We often fly Teesside Amsterdam, because it is less than an hour. The Leeds flight has been in the air for more than two hours already.

@LargeAmericanoQuick you can just have a browse on flight radar or look at an airport that is affected during a storm. I would imagine Leeds Bradford is suffering at the wind is coming in as a cross wind from the south west which is 90 degrees to the orientation of the runway.
