DD10 is playing next door with a friend, adult DD’s are upstairs.
DH is visiting his mum until later so it’s me and the dogs on the sofa. Just ordered a takeaway for us all and have a nice bottle of wine chilling in the fridge.
Whats going on at yours?

Had a large family late lunch (roast lamb) with fizz. Now flopped in front of the tv with DH and dd. Ds gone back to his flat to meet up
with his mates for drinks. Ddog in the sofa snoring.

DH has taken DD (12) to horse riding, then she is staying out at a friend's house.

DS's (14 and 18) are in their rooms, probably gaming. DS1 took up the remainder of his birthday cake for 'dinner' so he's happy. (He had been fed a normal meal too!)

I am currently about to pop on episode of How to get to Heaven from Belfast on as I'm half way through but don't like watching TV with DH around for reasons I cannot fathom - he isn't a bother at all?!

Then I will probably clamber into bed and read before having a lovely lie-in tomorrow, because I don't have to get up with DD!

Im just back from a birthday evening meal with my children and grandchildren that was held at 6pm so the little ones could still get to bed at their normal time. It was lovely and I’m healthier and happier at 68 than I’ve been for quite a good while now. It’s been a lovely day and I’m now lying on my bed passing the time before my film comes on the tv.

Everyone’s been fed and watered and it’s just me and the dogs again 😂

Absolutely bugger all happening here! It's boring as fuck, to be honest with you. I've done nothing all day. Still in my pyjamas. Just can't seem to get going today.

DS and his GF left half an hour ago to go home after coming for the day.

DH is looking for something to watch on Netflix.

Adult DD is waiting to see if she wants to watch what DH chooses or may go and have a nap.

I’m hanging out on my bed with the dog.

We had a long grazing lunch and we’re all a bit sluggish!

We've just half tackled the massive cupboard of doom in our bedroom. It was absolutely rammed full of stuff - mainly from our old house - that we've not touched in about 13 years!

Dh is booking a tip run, I'm I'm uploading stuff to Vinted and washing the pile of sleeping bags we unearthed. They can go to the charity shop along with a massive pile of ornaments, a whole box of Wii games (can't they still be used? dh Wanted to bin them!) Etc

Ds is lounging on the settee in the back room watching rubbish on tv and stuffing his face with an Easter Egg he was given at school.

First day of our annual leave. Quite productive!

I’m in bed (gastritis). DH has gone to get something for his tea (yes, tea- we’re northern!).

The dogs have all flopped, as DH took them for a long walk earlier.

DH are planning a couple of episodes of our current Nordic noir programme later once DC are asleep.

Just chatted with eldest DC on the phone. Now watching The Pitt .

Just all had fish and chips. Now chilling on the sofa watching tv and scrolling.

First day of AL. DH’s 3rd. I’ve been stripping wallpaper in the back living room, DH has been laying a path and sorted the floor in the porch. DD has been out with friends and is now upstairs. Tea is Nando’s takeaway! Usually on a Friday I wfh then go to brownies.

We are about to eat fish finger sandwiches and chips. And packing up because we’re leaving tomorrow on holiday until Thursday.

I went out at 08:30 this morning to meet up with awesome lovely friend. We’ve visited Gunby Hall near Skeg, about an hour’s drive from my house. Arrived at 10:15 left at 14:05 having scoured the house & gardens. Sooooo many books in the house. Lots and lots of garden to walk around, must be stunning when everything is flowering but for now mostly daffs and tulips. A scone and a coffee before the walking powered us through until we got back in our cars and drove the 10 miles or so away from the coast for a sammich and a drink in Horncastle where we both used to work.

i got home around 5, and proceeded to spend over 30 minutes trying to clean 2 poos from WINGED DINOSAURS off my car windscreen.

Now I’m just finishing a bowl of chicken, broccoli and apricot cous cous and working out whether to watch a film or read my book.

Up early again tomorrow for leg wax and pedicure, then Man City v Liverpool at lunchtime and all you can eat Chinese meal in the evening celebrating friends’ silver wedding anniversary. No plans for Sunday or Monday.

3 days in the office and then Lanzarote to visit my in laws for a week on Friday. Bring on the reading and eating tapas!!!

Pizza, trashy telly, some chocolate, bed 💤

Rained all day here but we went out for a carvery and a walk and gave each other our Easter eggs (I did a hunt with clues for dd(7)), as dd and I are going to mum’s to stay for a few days from tomorrow so won’t be here with dh on Easter Sunday. Now watching Shaun the Sheep movie with dd until she goes to bed in a bit, then I can chill! Changed my bed earlier so looking forward to nice fresh sheets tonight 😴

DH and I are planning and booking hotels for our trip to Tuscany in September after he finished jet washing the patio. Living in hope of getting the garden furniture back out the garage at some point. DS1 is just back from playing golf, having an early night as will be out tomorrow all day and night in Manchester with pals. DS2 is currently at work. We had a huge roast pork for lunch so just cheese and crackers for tea.

We just watched Planet Terror and ate Dominos.

DP is making us a drink while I feed the animals.

We have some version of the plague so going to bed straight after.

I'm on MN because DW watches Emmerdale and Corrie..not my thing.

Dh has gone to his music studio to do some work
Dd is at work until 9.00 then going to her boyfriends
I’ve just had beans on toast and a rice crispy cake that Dd made
I’m watching Emmerdale and looking online at holiday cottages as hoping to book a short break for our 30th wedding anniversary in July. We are going to Japan next year but fancy going somewhere peaceful for a couple of nights in July.

Watching TV with DH, both kids upstairs in their bedrooms on their iPads.

Youngest child is playing in the garden and I’m planning a motorcycle trip out that’s happening tomorrow.

Just cooked a big sausage tray bake and veg. Did the washing up while DS had a bath. DD and I have been in Pjs and dressing gowns all day. We watched "I Swear" which was fantastic. Cried like a baby!
DD in shower, watching some cartoons with DS before bed. I have a pint of pear cider in my hand. Happy days
